Weed is legal in two states!

I want to live there

 

Well like Ryan and I were talking earlier that federal laws could always shut that law down.

 

This is true, but it's a good sign. It's good to see that states are beginning to take a stand.

And if history is anything to go by, it's likely that it will eventually become federally legal.

 

Fuck I-502!! It's going to ruin Washington! As soon as December 1st, 2013 comes around it will take effect and will be government regulated.. It will be shit weed.. Allowing us only up to an ounce instead of a pound and a half and taking away a LOT of patient rights.. People can even get a DUI if they get pulled over after a month since last smoking.How can someone be high after a month of not smoking? Its stupid an it's messed up how people make such a huge decision without real factual information in front of them. I do think we need to take another step forward in the marijuana movement but not like this... Just my opinions and yes I'm a patient from Washington.

 

It truly isn't a good thing that Washington did what they did but hopefully they fix the stupid shit within the law.

 

Hopefully they do and hopefully Washington figures out a different way to go about legalizing it.

 

Things go in baby steps, if you wish to truly go against it then you are going against the progress.

 

How is it progress? Its taking away the patients rights that we ALREADY have and giving them to the government... If you ask me thats pretty ass backwards and not progressing..

 

just because everyone wants weed to be legal for non patients doesn't mean real patients should get shit taken from us... its unconstitutional.. lol

 

It's progress towards actual legalization, just because it was a good situation for patients (only) previously doesn't actually mean much.

Just... no. It's still a federal offense to have cannabis.

Patient or not.

 

It means everything because not everyone should be given the right to smoke.

And clearly Washington thinks otherwise.

 

And im part of the 45% that don't think otherwise.. Like i said Im for it getting legalized but taking our rights away and being able to fuck us in the ass was not the right step..

 

You should be thankful that your state thinks it's acceptable, a lot of them don't.

Yah sorry, but you have to understand that recreational decriminalization IS progress. Even if it does somewhat affect the patients.

I think this is the best way to get it federally legalized, especially if more states jump in.

Alot of people are talking about this as if its a negative thing with absolutely no reasoning behind their opinions. In cali its easy as fuck for anyone to get a so called 'green' card for medical marijuana and there hasnt been an uprise in crime whatsoever outside of people maybe being caught with pot who dont have green cards since it was more readily available. In fact overall crime has decreased quite a bit.

Tl;DR come up with some sources or reasoning to back your opinions, if anything this will decrease crime violent and otherwise by freeing up the police force from wasting time and money on the very petty "crime" of smoking marijuana as well as providing state income via taxes. This is a win for all involved.
