If anyone could help that would be great!
Resistor value / W = ?
Power rating / W = 1
Working current = 30 mA

Any help would be great and an explanation would be even better

Equations: P = I V and V = I R

 

P = IV

1 = 0.03 V (30mA is 30x10^-3)
V = 33.33...

V = IR
33.333.. = 0.03 x R
R = 1111.11 ohms

I could be wrong, I've not done physics for about 3 years. Answer looks a bit strange, but that's the best I can attempt =p.


P= I^2 x R
1 = 0.03^2 x R
R = 111.11 ohms

Both seem to work out the same, so I'm assuming this is correct, unless I've gotten the mA wrong.
