Do you think time moves too fast.

Like I think back to when I was still in school and it only seems like yesterday when I first started secondary school (UK School) where you start at like 13 years old. Now I am 19 I think where the fuck did those 6 years go......

 

The older you get the faster time goes by. I do admit, it goes incredibly fast.

 

I've been trying to get out of bed for age's now time keep's on going. -_-

On a serious note, yes I do think time is fast you're life isn't long if you think about it.

 

Speaking strictly from a physics standpoint, time is relative to the viewer. Psychologically you're just being nostalgic.

 

Years go faster as you grow older, because it's a smaller part of your life, relative to your age.

 

Yes time moves too fast, but it's not that it's too fast, it's that life is too short.

I also think the more you think about it, the faster it goes.

Personally, I can't believe I'm where I am now... It seems almost surreal, but then again sometimes I feel like I lost a couple of years of my life.

Not really. If I look back I tend to skip over the irrelevant things that happened so I can't connect properly, but honestly it was nothing to be nostalgic over.

Not necessarily... I feel like if you live your life to the fullest, you won't really be left with thoughts like so. Plus, you're only wasting more time pondering about it. Do great things, because the good memories are just as good as the moments spent experiencing them. I just had a fucking epiphany! :3

 

Time is the fourth dimension. You're referring to the measurement of time.

 

Ya definitely, elementary (primary) school went by fast, middle school went by faster, high school even faster, and now I'm at college actually wishing I could relive some of that

 

Yea... man I am 19 and I don't even feel like it. I keep thinking in 10 years i'll be nearly 30.. jesus.

 

Having a wonderful little girl has made me realize how much time flies by. IMO, it goes by much too fast!

I suspect USA and UK are kinda diff because in UK once ur 18 you can do anything gamble, drink, etc etc but in USA its 21 so it might seem a lil diff.

 

You actually live in the past. I think it was about 80 milliseconds for information to be processed in the human brain.

 

I think it has a lot to do with how you start realizing that the carefree life you had when you were younger does not last forever. As you get older the burden of responsibility gets heavier, and with it comes the need to constantly be planning for the future (exams, essays, jobs, relationships, etc), and when you're constantly planning for the future, it's a lot easier to lose track of the now.

I guess when you juxtapose how little you had to worry about as a kid with how much is expected of you as an adult, it seems like you used to have a lot more time to do all the things you would like to be doing now. I really wish I had spent my younger days doing nothin but watching the clouds (does anybody still do that?) and reading, instead of watching television and playing runescape.

But I'm not too bummed out about it, and I know all I can do now is try and make up for lost time, as well try and keep my little brother from falling into the vice of the electronic world.
