Is an account name change even possible?

If you are talking about a Name Change on Sythe, then no.
The only possible way is if you're on staff and they think you're name doesn't look Professional, but that only happens occasionally.

Edit: And yes you could make a new account, but this one will have to be banned/closed, you can ask a staff to help you out.

No I think you misunderstood what I said , It's if you are staff then you could possibly change your name if they think it's unprofessional .

 

no, you have to BE a staff member to get it changed. The only thing you can do is quit your current sythe account and make a new one with the name you want.
