EoC...Positives?

Does anyone see any positives with the upcoming update?

 

NONE, worst update in rs history imo

 

New playerbase, that's about all I can see at the moment.

 

Insane increase to combat exp/hr... which i find absurd

 

Don't forget the "make x" function that will allow herb cleaning to rake in an unheard of 300K/hr experience. EDIT: No pun intended.

 

Is the game going to turn into WOW where everything is easy to get max level and then they have end game content????

 

People wont bash Runescape anymore? and HTML5. That's about it, no actual content, personally, is a "positive".

 

Not sure how much of a positive this is to anyone here, but if you're a noob main with 72 magic you can easily destroy a nearly maxed turmoil pure with max strength bonus and dual chaotics.

...And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the moment I gave up on the EoC.

 

Gay update, only thing which i think is good is they have range/mage style turmoils, which they should have had before -_-

Combat triangle working here and you're bitching? I fail to see your complaint. if you were getting downed by a 72 range noob with a nearly maxed turm pure; i would say there's a problem.

IMO... everything!

It'sgoing to be almost like a fresh new game where we can all have fun and it'll introduce new players and bring runescape back to life!

A lot of old players perhaps will come back if they were bored with the game.

It'll be easier to make money in some ways.

It should screw up bots for a while too!

I'm looking at it as the glass is half full!

 

If you look at the time line of difficulty reaching 99 you would've come to that conclusion roughly around the time Zezima threw in the towel.

 

How does it increase the combat rates per hour?

 

People think that because you can now deal more damage it will mean combat stats will be trained faster. Jagex has said they will be scaling exp rates so they are relatively the same but we'll have to wait til the 20th to see if this actually happens.

 

Yes I am because wearing a robe and casting wind wave shouldn't completely protect you from dual chaotic rapiers.

This is definitely a huge positive of the EoC. Mining and woodcutting are easy because you can have gathering and dropping items as hotkeys.

 

Wow never knew that, logged into beta today for the first time in a month or two, any idea what hotkeys are for those?
