Vouches

If you're going to vouch for someone, you are required to leave the persons name you're vouching for, and the service you're vouching for. This will remove confusion, and vouches will be more complete.

I see a lot of vouches on peoples vouch threads that say, "Vouch. Good User! Ty!!!"

or like, "Vouch . . . "

Point being, this vouch isn't really tied to you in any way as it doesn't say your name, and that the vouch is for you, so my suggestion is to make it a requirement to leave the name of the user you're vouching for, and what the vouch is for.

It is tied to you because it's on your thread. Alternatively just get the user to post on a vouch thread, that way, everything contained is specific to that user. The vouch is usually inside of a service or store thread, so you know the vouch is corresponding with that. I don't see the issue.

 

I think this would be something that the seller would have to ask the buyer to do rather than implementing some rule for it. Perhaps just ask them to vouch with a little sentence instead of just a phrase.

 

I don't think this should be required but if you want you can just ask for the person to include your name.

 

Exactly, the trader you're working with should post his or her vouch on your thread. Then, you copy/paste their vouch and post it into your signature, this has been going on since the beginning of vouching.
