Do not allow [$15000 Vouches] in Titles

If you don't see a dollar sign, it is your own problem.

Don't like trusted being put in a title as well.

 

Maybe, $15000 value vouches? But it's correct the wording is beyond stupidity

 

Support, I feel like having your current ranks and number of vouches as your title is enough.

 

I've handled $2000 worth of items before in RS yet I haven't done many trades, that should not count as legitimacy for trust IMO.

I do support this idea though because it would stop misleading titles.

 

Going slightly off in a tangent, one thing I hate about this is newcomers using stuff like that. They put some obscene amount handled in the titles of their threads and in their signatures when realistically they were not trusted with any of it as they were going first to large gold sellers in bulk deals, etc.

eh honestly I don't mind it as long as they aren't lying. I feel like it is your responsibility to prevent being scammed. You should look at their background, see if vouches are correct, and if you have a bad vibe don't trade.

Anyone who is going to get scammed because this or trust in the title is probably going to get scammed anyway.

 

I say they shouldn't be able to put tags like that at all.

I agree with this, but we can't enforce it with everyone, they are entitled to people viewing them as trusted. I don't understand when people put "Trusted" when they obviously aren't.

 

Just have market moderators enforce it and prohibit a few words in titles?

 

I wish it was that easy, alot of people report peoples threads because of it. Personally I think that "trusted, cheapest" should just be censored from the titles.

Well since the threads are already being reported and the Market Moderators are already alerted to these threads, just have the Moderators take action instead of dismissing the issue. It would ease the tension in the marketplace a lot.

 

I have no opposition to this, if anything you could remind me via msn when ya see me on. I mean mostly we are talking of newcomers, or everyone. Since Arcus, R2, and others literally are trusted and honestly should get a chance since they are considered the best.

 

I don't think banning "1500$ vouches" is necessary, but definitely prohibit "Trusted" in the title - unless staff or trusted rank.

 

Yeah, only people with the 'highly trusted' rank should be allowed to use it.

 

If it's a free MM, then they should say "handled" as that's what they're doing down to a tee. However, if it's a gold seller, account trader, or so on, they should say "traded." A differentiation between the two should be made now so it's done and over with.

 

Well it depends, they claim they've traded big amounts, which looks good, but they might have gone first every time, so there is no trust shown there.
