Question for my friend about ASUS K53U SX152V

From what I can gather from google, it is a laptop, and that is next to impossible to upgrade CPU's on, so none. Sorry man!

Question for my friend about ASUS K53U SX152V

In many laptops, the CPU is completely upgradeable. Chances are, in said Asus laptop, it can be upgraded. Your best bet is to look for all of the varying options that were offered with that laptop...the highest model is pretty much the best you will be aple to support. What im getting at is if you have say, a core 2 duo... You won't be able to put an i5 or i7 in it...so dont get your hopes too high.

Ive done a few CPU upgrades in laptops....so I can assure you its 100% doable unless the CPU is part of the motherboard. That is something you'll have to tear her open to find out.

Now, as for your gpu...its not upgradeable. Unless your laptop has a MXM interface, which none of the ASUS laptops do(even their highest end models, which makes me LOLOL) then you can't upgrade.

Question for my friend about ASUS K53U SX152V

Oh, and dont worry so much about the recommended spec in any particular game in regards to your CPU. Even ol core 2 duos can be acceptably decent for gaming on a budget. Hell an i3 can generally get the job done decently, too. Step up to an i5 and you'll notice a big change, then going from an i5...an i7 won't show any difference in games. Your main concern needs to be the gpu. If the gpu isn't up to spec, you're not going to have a good gaming experience.
