This fella bought 300,000 coins from me on fifa ultimate team off ebay, i DID give him his coins, straight away. I have heard about this type of thing happening but i was just hoping it wouldnt happen to me. Can anyone give me any advice, how can i prove to paypal that he got what he paid for, so i can keep my money.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, i put it here as there are a lot of coin sellers here and one of you may have experience with this.

Paypal doesn't cover virtual transactions. pretty much he got your fifa coins for free. just let it go, and move on. sorry to hear that. I would stick to websites like this to sell that. even if you showed that you did sell them there is nothing you can do.

That's not entirely true. If the buyer included a note that the transaction was for virtual items, call Paypal, point them to the note, and they'll rule in your favor. Otherwise if you included the note that you did(admitting it was for virtual items but the buyer has not) Paypal will rule against you and in the buyer's favor.

Not 100% sure what you mean by the note, here's what he bid on, including the item description:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251176165259&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:GB:1123

Dunno whether you can see that as it has ended

I believe ebay sent you receipts from the purchase, and using those receipts should be all paypal needs, call paypal to make sure, and see what they need from you

edit: if the paypal dispute fails... If it was through ebay, dont they have buyer or seller protection for this kind of thing? Look that up and the process, ebay should be able to fix this

Your listing on Ebay was against Ebay's policy so if it is at all possible I would say avoid contacting them, chances are you'll get an Ebay ban/suspension AND loose your money, try and keep it to Paypal and explain. As far as I'm aware there is neither buyer or seller protection on virtual items on Paypal so it could go either way, you have a chance! Hope this helps buddy!

If the guy who bought the coins paid with a stolen paypal then you're screwed. Can you remember if the guy sounded like he was British, or if his UT team name sounded British? The @comcast email makes me weary.

The virtual items thing only really works if the buyer claimed nonreceipt. It looks like you were dealing with either a hacked paypal or someone who faked his paypal as hacked. Do what you can to tell Paypal that you were dealing with a seemingly legit customer, and hopefully it can get settled.

Seeing as it's unauthorized if the buyer bought the item via a proxy or something of that sort then he will most likely win.
