Presidential Election

So to all of you that are voting this election what are your thoughts.

Poll is anonymous just curious how the Sythe users are voting (if they can). I know I will be voting on Tuesday, have to drive an hour to the voting station.

 

I chose other because I'm going to abstain from voting this term, just wanted to see other people's thoughts.

 

I will be voting on Tuesday, my gf is very involved in politics.

 

If i could vote (1 year away!), i would vote for Romney/Ryan this term. Although they agree with the tax breaks for millionaires, i look at what Obama has done on this issue and there doesn't really seem to be much.

 

I voted by mail for Gary Johnson.

 

I turn 18 a month after the election, kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth. If I could vote I'd have voted for Obama, though.

 

Bingo, and it's not much on a lot of other issues either.

But it's cool cause he'll legalize pot, right?

 

I think I accidentally just clicked Obama, Sythe be lagging so hard.

Anywho, if I could vote, it would be for Romney.

 

Like Floyd, I'm not voting this term. I don't care for either of them.

Obama has done jack shit of what he presented. He had a super majority and hardly passed a healthcare bill.

 

When did he have supermajority? (Which means 60 senate seats, or enough to surpass a filibuster) Not sure where you're getting your information, might be listening to Romney a little too much without searching for yourself:

Or if you don't like the Huffington Post just google 'Obama had supermajority' and it will come up many results that proves that Romney was just stretching the facts.

I like a lot of what Gary Johnson stands for,(except some of his fiscal policy.) but sadly he doesn't have a shot. The two party system is a complete miscarriage of republic democracy and says that if you don't fit into one of two molds there is no way you are getting elected.

I'm voting Obama/Biden.

 

If you don't support the two party system, you shouldn't perpetuate it by voting within it when you believe in other candidates.

 

I always like the idea of 3 options for voting but I also don't get where people think the president will legalize pot, neither candidate has said anything about that. Nor will it happen in this term. I highly doubt Romney would legalize it, for one he's too conservative for that.

 

I meant that with very high sarcasm , it's just what I hear a lot of around here ("voting obama cuz uh... hes doing better than bush with all the problems he gave him, he black, and hes gonna help legalize pot!!!11") and like you, I haven't heard anyone say much about it either. It just shows how many unfair votes will be cast due to lack of research, and a lot of hearsay.

 

i'd bet romney's gonna lose even though i'm voting for him.

 

I'm 11 months shy of being able to vote this time, but I would be voting for Gary Johnson.

 

I hate it when people argue that Obama done nothing, he have done for shit than all the other president of the 21'st century all together. Is weird when people think that USA is gona have so many good changes when he become president. Yet we all know that president do nothing but suggest changes to the congress.

 

What about assassinating US citizens? The killing of Anwar al-Awlaki was an egregious assault on civil liberties and the Constitution. I hate how issues like this have been virtually ignored the whole campaign because neither Romney nor Obama are willing to stand up for our rights.

 

Obama put us 8.2T more dollars in debt. Great job! give him 4 more years.
