Which Photo is better? Need help deciding which photo to us.

2, but the photo needs to be composed better in my opinion. Way too much negative space and the subject matter doesn't draw focus.

Hmm, I'll have have to agree with Nero. They're really all the same. Work on the composition & put the spotlight on the focal.

#1 just doesn't look right to me..
#2 looks good but I have to agree with Nero and Moon as well .

I'm no artist, but I prefer number two. In my opinion though.. If you brought the aspect ratio in on 2. Bringing your focus on the key and the text at the bottom it would look a lot better. Also a better quality image would come in handy.

 

#2 as it really show's the emotion and you understand it clearly

The second is better, but both are pretty bad.
I literally cannot focus on the car keys, even if I try. The text should be secondary to the image, but currently it's the only part I can look at.

 

#2, simplicity is key imo, #1 is a bit overkill.
