Worth getting Pray/Summ?

Alright, right now i'm working on my staker. My plan is to max it out 99 att/str/def/hp


When the evolution of combat comes out apparently summoning and prayer have nothing to do in the equation at all when determining combat level so I could be 1 or 99 and it wouldn't matter.

My question to everyone here is do you think it's worth it for me to train summoning and prayer? The account might as well be my main after that point.

 

I'd honestly wait until they actually implement the final version of the EOC before you do anything, they might make some changes to the formula- who knows.

 

It's a risk because the supplies might be worth a LOT more because everyone thinks that it will be worthless. If it's just a staker I don't see why you need pray/summoning. If it becomes your main I'd suggest getting it so you can boss and do more fun things in the game.

 

If you are going to make the account your main, go for it. Summoning and prayer are definitely useful, and if you can afford it, definitely worth it.

You're risking a lot of money on those 2 skills, but those skills definitely will pay off some day in events such as PvP and PvM, so I would suggest you to get them.

 

Don't train them if it's just a staker. If it's your main as well, do train them. They come in handy in a lot of instances, and I doubt they will be ignored from combat level in the final version of the EoC.

 

The reason I think that they will actually be ignored in the EoC when regarding combat level is that jagex stated that prayer and summoning will not be as effective as they are now. So with them not being as effective I can see them taking them out of the combat level equation.

This is the only account I actually do play and I'm very limited to what I can do on rs right now when it comes to actually enjoying the content of the game since I'd just be limited to staking.

I havn't actually done anything else besides stake / pk ever since my main got banned a while back so i'm not sure if it's actually worth it to invest in anything else now because all of my non-combat stats on this account are complete shit and I only have 9 Quest points which means hours and hours of questing / skilling if I do decide to go through with getting prayer and summoning

 

id train summ 6 looks bad, just do something to get it like 50 or so don't do anything after

If your planning to use it for just staking, no.

 

Agreed, EoC official release or not they're beneficial, but as everyone previously stated if you don't plan to use this as your main account (or you simply do not want a main account), then don't bother. I highly doubt that Summoning/Prayer will be incorporated (total level wise) to the EoC but honestly if you plan on boxing then it won't yield any effect whatsoever. The bottom line is, you'll have to make the decision whether or not it's worth the money and effort to invest into those two 99s.

 

Personally, if I had the money for both but would be low on cash afterwards, I'd get them both to 99. They're both very expensive skills, and if you plan to be using the account a lot, they can come in handy one day. So, if you have the money, go for it.

 

Just wait until EoC to be honest, because they could implement stuff that would make your account very OP with 1 prayer and low summ.

 

If you can afford it then yes because there's no disadvantage having if according to this new EoC shit.

 

What's the point in these, seriously. People are just going to look you up and you're only going to fight maxed players anyway. If you have the cash, do it, of course. Why wouldn't you?

 

If you want it to be your main: yes.
If you want it to be just a staker: no. you'll be wasting time training prayer/summoning while you could be maxing combat/staking.
