The modern day Illuminati - are they still around?

I know that the Modern day Illuminati is a group of decendants from the original illuminati founded in 1776 and famous people that strive to conroll all of the workings and affairs of the world. But are they still around today? Ive heard of Rappers, Athletes, and Politicians being part of the Illuminati by trading their souls to the devil for fame and fortune, but were is the proof? Just because a few rappers talk about Satan or a basket ball player makes a sign with his fingers that if you use your imagination and a bit of math makes it 666 doesnt mean they all are apart of this organization.

What im asking is do you think they are around today and what proof are you basing your conclusion on?

So many people believe videos like this, but watch through the video and look for factual info. There is none. It is just some guy saying, yes, this is true.

But, if the illuminati was still alive, it definitely would not include rappers or athletes.

The reason I know it isn't still alive is one simple thing, have you ever tried to hide a tiny little secret? Someone always finds out. Imagine trying to hide a whole organization; it can't be done. Even if it could be done, after all the time spent hiding, the group would have no time to actually do anything.

 

illuminati were just a bunch of free thinkers who had to study science and logic in secret a few hundred years ago. All this conspiracy stuff is non-sense.

Not quite sure about the devil part, but in terms of people controlling world Governments and events throughout the world, I'm pretty sure they've always been around.

 

The Illuminati conspiracy about them attempting to take over the world with their "new world order" is a bunch of bullshit.

The Illuminati used to be a secret organization devoted to free thinking during the period of the Enlightenment and it contained many of the great thinkers, artists, and important people of that era. Now people say that the Illuminati is some kind of multi-national conspiracy to take over the world.

The illuminati is just a bunch of nonsense latched onto by mostly uneducated people who aren't familiar with critical thinking and basing opinions on sufficient evidence.

all the people I know who have advocated this theory have been uneducated people who talk about this stuff in order to make themselves feel smart, like they know something you dont.

of course, if you argue with them, they will almost always say something along the lines of:

"well if you dont believe me, your just another sheep."

 

People like rappers and athletes are not smart enough to keep shut about anything, so they would never be let in. As Herman Li said, they might be used, but never in the inner circle.
