Anime Section

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this was suggested before but sorry if it has.

First of all I'm a big anime fan and watch anime anytime I'm free. Just thought it would be nice if it can have its own section or maybe a sub section in 'Movies/Tv shows'. I would love to hear reccomendations for new animes I haven't watched before, or maybe even a warning of what animes not to watch (because it's so bad). Just discussing an anime in general would be nice as well!

This suggestion pops up every six months or so. I'm going to quote myself again:

ie. it's not a good idea to further split up the already-not-that-great activity in the existing sections just for the sake of pleasing about two people.


I forgot to actually address your post specifically:
Further subsections for niche topics are not necessary. If you want to hear (dis)recommendations or generally talk about whatever, you can make a thread in the Movies / TV board. Unless suddenly a batch of people interested in anime show up and start flooding the section with (proper) threads about it, then a section could be considered.

 

But you never know, having its own section might actually 'spark' alot of people to start watching anime. It's quite unfortunate that not many people here watch anime here though, oh well.
