    Where did [name here] go?

He made some mention to me about being preoccupied with his studies as to the reason he had not yet completed his match on the Sythe Chess Tournament.

This was his post on the thread
It kinda sounds like he resigned from the match in the end.

    Probably that?

If you are talking about Emperor_Nero, you can PM him if you want to chat or anything. He's around :)

That would make more sense. Sucks he was banned because he made a mistake :/

A very sad day for Sythe :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but his PayPal charged back everyone and he owes many people money. I'm assuming he's banned until he pays everyone, including me, back.

You're right, I just read the report.

PayPal doesn't just chargeback for no reason, it does seem like a scam >.<

As said by the above poster, it does. And it could be because he is making several Paypal accounts to avoid something somehow.

Whether it's intentional or not, it doesn't matter. He continues to buy stuff when he knows this is happening. He needs to pay everyone that got affected (7+ people now) back.

Hes apparently $1100 in the red on his paypal(s). I doubt any of you will be seeing your money intentional or not he received his money from a compromised paypal meaning he was caught with stolen money. Not only that but multiple PP accounts registered to same person to bypass limits (also illegal) i wouldnt be surprised if he gets locked up or legal action taken against him by paypal and the initial person whos paypal was hacked. This is some serious shit, intentional or not.

Paypal won't lock him up or follow anything up lol. This happens daily, on a massive scale. They'll just perm limit his account(s), and won't let him make any more.

You dont know what you are talking about, paypal takes legal action quite often. Hacking a PP account is a crime, receiving stolen goods/money is a crime (if it was accidental im sure it would be sorted out) but its STILL illegal and taken very seriously. This type of thing is at the discretion of the hacked accounts owner, a friend of mines PP was compromised and he pressed charges and shit got filed the case isnt sorted out due to courts. Even if he was the innocent recipient/"victim" of the hacker he at the very least committed fraud and him having multiple accounts to bypass limits and what not is very sketchy in conjuncture with this supposed "hacked" account. Granted any legal action i know of has been made within the US and he supposedly lives in Macedonia.

There are like 100000 hacked paypal accounts, that are being used daily/hacked daily/sold daily. Paypal won't follow up lol. It's quite obvious. Ask any market orientated person on this forum who's dealt with paypal and numerous fraudulent payments. Unless this hacker is dumb enough to hack accounts from his own IP, and do it multiple times to raise a red flag... but common sense prevails.

No point arguing it here though.

I've been in his position, except the making of multiple accounts. Although my family members have paypal, theirs got limited too and I had about a $500 deficit and no legal actions were taken against me. They've called and said I had to pay, but it's been 2 years since. I think they send notes to your home to make you scared, but there's so many people in the same position as him and paypal is to blame because they're such a horrible company. Their methods about handling situations is god awful. They shouldn't reverse all payments when they notice something, they should reverse after the investigation is over. How will they look when they find out they're wrong and affected more than 5 accounts? They don't care. Paypal is horrible, which is why it shouldn't be used for virtual transactions. If anyone is to blame, it's all those who use paypal for virtual transactions.

You dont know what you are talking about, or the very least arent following the context to what im referring too. A "market oriented" person dealing with chargebacks wouldnt have anything relevant to say on the matter at hand. Someone who got their PP hacked and is out atleast $1100 . Sebastien receiving a large chunk of the stolen money ($1100) on multiple PP accounts makes him look very suspicious in the matter, fuck the fraudulent charges the owner of the money is going to be asked if he/she wants to press charges as this was a form of identity theft... Look it up on PP website, misuse of PP is punishable by law and the owner of said account is going to be pissed and will likely pursue all avenues. This will be the last post i make about this, sorry about getting derailed here. My point is the victim of said hacked account can be vigilant in their pursuit of legal action and press on relentlessly. Read up on PP website about the manner in which things like this are handled regardless of what you have heard or think you know PP and the victim both can press charges, i would know my friend is actively pursuing charges in a similar situation whether anything comes of it is a different story but if the victim is vigilant something WILL eventually come of it.

    soz for derail
