Oh hai dur. Umm, I really like this piece. It is very well composed and draws the person looking at it right into the focal. I also really like the use of colors, the piece is contrasted well. I think you should create a new tag to see how much better you've gotten ;)

I'd have to disagree with you and say the focal is poorly captured the renders gun is more sharp and the character himself looks dull and hidden. Use the rule of third when sizing and placing your render, good job otherwise, I'd like to see a new piece from you.

Focal is blocked, looks over sharpened. I like what you did with the c4d, but it makes the quality low. Some tips is to not put the foreground over the focal. It blurrs it out and makes it look lq. Like zippy said, the composition isn't good because you sharpened the piece of the focal. The tag is bland as well. Not trying to down your sig, but keep making more following the rules of the third.

colours, lighting and composition need work

c4d effects look LQ and should be used to create flow; which this tag lacks.

focal is the gun instead of the guy

you can easily create depth with this tag due to the perspective of the render by using proper blurring and sharpening

When I created it, I imagined the focal was supposed to be the gun though, not the guy (that's why its brighter than the guy). But now that I look at it, I think oversharpened the sides of the gun.

This is what I was thinking. It's different and I like it for that fact. People are always the focals in sigs and it gets boring, but when you look at cinematography it's often that the focus of the camera zeros in on props (objects manipulated by characters), E.G. things in their hands ESPECIALLY in gun scenes. Picture an old west movie with a canted upward angle shot of Clint Eastwood, from the point of view of whoever is staring down his 357 magnum. The barrel and the chamber are in sharp focus while Clint is blurred in the background. THAT'S the feel I get from what you made, superman, and I like it a lot. The only problem is that it's too monotone, too uniform, especially the background. Nothing to do but play with different effects, overlay images, keep mucking about until you find something you like.

This is also what I was thinking. The focal to me is the gun as it is "popping out" of the images. It draws you into the piece. I can understand why you would put more emphasis on it.
