Was given a max account! What should I do?

My friend quit rs and he offered me a free maxed rs account, of course I'd take it, but there's that worry that he would recover. Should I play on it? Or wait it out to see what happens. I'm not too anxious to play on it anyways, but it's something to do while I'm on or creating tags.

 

Depends what kind of friend he is... Is he someone you know IRL or just an internet friend?

If he's an internet friend, he's probably anticipating you to put your wealth on it then he'd recover it. I mean, he could get hundreds of dollars for a maxed account.

 

if its someone irl you could offer toshare, a friend on the internet will prob recover it once utrain it and get it wealthy

Considering it takes billions just to max out the buyables, not to mention the thousands of hours it takes to max.... he's going to scam. Hell, people who sell their maxed accounts for $100-300 are scammers trying to get you to transfer your bank over and then they recover. People who give these accounts away for free are definitely scammers.

The first thing I would do is peer at the maxed forums out of sheer curiosity.

 

Bot the shit out of it while you can and xfer the $ every 12 hrs.

By maxed do you mean maxed combat so 138 or maxed cape account? if its a max cape acocunt it all depends on what sort of friend he is, like all the other posts have stated. Do you have your e-mail on the account? Also set JAG if so, won't make much diffrence if he is the original owner, he will always be able to recover if he wants to. If he doesn't and he's genuinely quit, you've got very lucky with obtaining an account of that wealth.

 

As people have said, you can always bot and give yourself the money towards 99s on your own account. That's what I would do, I wouldn't even want a maxed account from someone else. Use it for 100% botting and the forum and have fun.

 

Well this will obviously result in a scam.

 

Host and make bills. Then transfer the cash you make.

 

Just bot it with the best method you know and transfer the cash over regularly.

dont put too much wealth in it and make some cash pvm'ing

 

Use this to your advantage, you seem to not be maxed combat if you took the max account, sell some floors in dungoneering or go bossing and when you make money transfer it to your old account that way you lose nothing he's just giving you an easier way to make money. You could also go bossing and make tons or onyx farm @ the kiln.
