Staking/Gambling Worth It Or Not?

Hi, I made 300m legit and I well got scammed. I sold a lot of stuff to get 100m then bought a smuggled item account of over 65 items which will get me pretty far, it's just sometimes hard to find buyers. After buying the account I had 36m left. I turned that 36m into 180m by using dragon dyce and cls flowers (only for flower poker). I never did ABC since host keeps 10% so I'm pretty much bound to get cleaned. I just did flower poker against hosts so theres no commission. But here's the question, is it easier to make money legit or to dice/stake and get cleaned but then one time get lucky enough? I know staking has better odds than gambling but I don't have 99 attack, Defence, or Hitpoints. All feedback is appreciated, thanks.

 

when you are not maxed in att,str,def,hp, i highly suggest you to not stack! stacking is 50/50 with maxed stats, if you are lower then 99 it reduce your chance to win a lot! if i were you i would not stack

Theres great money to be made staking but it takes a little bit of skill (im a firm believer in switching styles for the +2 hidden bonus) and is near impossible to find legit fights without max stats. With staking there are always the risks of people who have found a bug and win by cheating. Gambling is always a shit option, anyone saying otherwise either hosts or got lucky. Hosting is profitable but you need a nice stack to start and most wont mess with you unless ranked.

 

If you need an account to stake on with maxed stats, just PM me. I rent my account fairly cheap and can give yous taking tips.

Don't gamble again. Stop while you're up. You'll always end up cleaned at places like Ddyce, CLS, etc. DO NOT GAMBLE ANYMORE. Be happy you're up so much as it is, most get cleaned before then.

 

Even if both stakers are max combat it's not 50/50. Making money legit (or buying gp) will always be better since the greed factor doesn't come into play. You win 50m, you try to do it again. It's human nature.

 

You will never succeed with staking... I have lost 500M in like 10 mins. Even if you think you have self control you will get sucked in and lose it all. I got up to 4B at my peak... now I have 200M and not staking. Its really addicting.

 

DO NOT GO TO THE DUELING ARENA TO STAKE!!!! Trust me i went 3 times, each time i lost a minimum 50m+, the last time i went i lost 200m >.> Not even worth the time imo

 

Gambling is addictive and I will encourage you not to continue doing so.

Earning the money legit is stable although it may be slow. But you still have the money at the end of the day!

 

Staking/Gambling obviously offers faster satisfaction/disappointment than grinding for cash. If you are tempted to "bet" your money, I would suggest only allotting half of your cash pile to these sorts of activities. That way you can still make some quick cash and if you do get "cleaned" you will still have half of your bank stashed away. Although it is often difficult, I would also recommend taking your winnings and leaving once you are up a bit and not to get greedy

 

I think there is a very few people who could succeed with long-term staking as in most cases when you win you try to win more.

 

Not at all in my opinion, there are more efficient methods of making money. My personal favorite is working IRL and buying gold in bulk.

 

Making money isn't an issue for me either, I can host or sell floors. I am just wondering what is faster for my own benefit.

 

Stakeing is very addictive, especial when you rage bet your bank haha ...

I was up 1.5b then got cleaned so i purchased another 500m and im now again 1.5b but you learn from your mistakes and I sharnt be loseing it all if any!..

A few tips for staking..
- When your up a good amount just leave! Its easy to lose what you won!
- When your down please STOP staking, else you will rage bet and lose.
- Always check the stake screen ive lost 100+m just skim reading the rules.
- Have fun

 

For Runescape, I would suggest hosting, and/or bossing. Outside Runescape, I would suggest flip flopping between buying/selling gold. Or obtaining money through a part time job, etc. and simply buying gold in large quantities.

 

I'd much rather grind for the cash, but when I'm hosting I don't mind taking the risks. It's the fun that matters!

 

In my opinion it's more fun to have money then to lose it. I end up losing money when I host.

 

Personally, I'd quit while ahead. I know it's easier said than done.. I myself found myself 2b up, yet kept attracting back to the staking areas, and lost it all. Stupid, I know, but it happens to a lot of people.

Just grind it, honestly, that's the best way for stable income. Hours of Bandos, etc. will eventually pay off. Trust me.

 

Only do it if you're comfortable in loosing it all. You can make a ton, but you can also lose a lot as well. Just use your best judgement.

 

I think this is the best response, and also all the others I think I'm just gonna stick to making money because I plan on maxing one day and if I keep getting cleaned I can't achieve that thanks all for the answers!

 

You can loose bank very fucking quickly. I recently just bought 400m, Literally within the next day I had lost it ALL. It's all down to luck. Depending on the game you play, the host will always win.
