Chevy cobalt, sweeet. Why don't we get cars like this in england at a reasonable price. It's actually a really nice car, should have got a 72' charger though ;D

It's pretty hot. It has hood scoops and blue windows. Unfortunately it needs a new water pump which will cost you upwards of $900.

Or $50 if you do the work yourself, which takes maybe 6 hours if you really have no clue what you're doing.

    Nonetheless, nice new car!

There is no way 95% of people in the world would have the tools required. Trust me, my dad's been a car mechanic most of his life, if he could fix it he would lol.

Not sure what year or what engine your grand am is, but i just replaced the timing chain on my sisters 2003 grand am, which is connected to the water pump, to get to the pump it was like 10 or so bolts, then pull the timing chain, then unbolt the water pump and put the new one in, then reverse the steps. All i ended up needing was a few sockets, like 5/8 or something like that.

To the first guy that posted, I don't know how you can not like spoilers, they make the car look 10 times better, and that is a pretty nice looking car. I have a junk bucket, but will be getting my dad's car soon which is nice.

Ironically I needed to replace the timing chain as well, but my dad checked it out and said to replace the pump they'd need whatever tools they have in a shop to do it. (Plus my back breaks are weak so it's a bitch to put on jacks)

Yea the timing chain and water pump nearly always go at the same time, which is kinda good so you don't replace one then a thousand miles later have to tear it all apart to replace the other.

What kind of MPG does your new car get?
