i miss when rs was in its prime with cheating back when the only thing you had to download was blupigs cheat folder and you had everything to go. There was scripts, bots, clients, literally it had it all. I also miss the old swiftswitch and Eliteswitch. im just bored and reminiscing on it lol. I remember the first scar script i made was to cut trees around lumby back when i was a noob in 03. I also remember the first cheat i had i was using sythescape with sythes power miner and fagex autofighter lol.

 

Everyone has thier lil group of buddies who all play on same world and are mates in real life dont they?

Well i remember when we had all hit combat 75 (we would wait around combats for each other) that we decided to go fight pits.

About 12 of us all at fight pits just messing about (was like 2004/05 though)
sat in the sexy ass rune armour or rock shell, obsidian and a d scim or long with dds xd

Just all mucking about and killing each other and random people now and again.

clan of like a few 100+ comes on our world and we just hilaariously pile the same person to kill them super quick and repeat, did it for about 20 rounds or so until they got bored and logged, we didnt mind we lost the full pits round we were just happy we destroyed what we thought was some epicly amazing players and later on we decided to make a clan XD

 

I kinda wish that sythe would sponsor/host a bot. Would bring alot of activity.

 

I have too much stories, but one that made me laugh like crazy a few days ago is that a friend and I thought that killing guards @ varrock and fally, will make us get baned.

Whenever I found out that the "cool" kid i was friends with who lived 2 doors up played rs, he got on his account at my house and showed me his stuff...he was the only member friend i had at the time and i was amazed, I remember watching him do some trading in fally garden and getting this awesome looking armor set i had never seen..but he needed 70 def to equip it, it was guthans haha.


Orrrr when me and another friend of mine would start out with an item (usually full rune) and merchant with only that item in varrock west bank area for an hour to see who got the most valuable outcomes, i remember going from 1 set of rune to 4 sets, 1 set of rune (g), 1 set of abby (t) and a willow comp bow. I felt like a boss

 

PKing with my old pure clan that is now dead (The Golden Gods aka TGG).

Such a great time pking at hills and GDZ, warring other pk clans in 05-06, even 07. Everyone was friendly, just there to have a good time and win the war. People actually had honor and there was no bullshit pking like there is today. I guess, there was just more respect in general, sure there was gloating but I feel as if trash talking/gloating has more of a negative connotation in this day and age of pkers then it did in 05-06.

People were just more helpful, had that good ole clan bank where people trusted other people and would graciously donate to help other people get better and we would level together, CW, PC, etc. Everything about 05-06 was better, I still had my childhood back then, got the pk shivers/jitters. I would literally shiver and my teeth would chatter because I was so excited to pk and see how the wild would treat me that day.

One of my favorite moments was using an extremely basic power mining script from SCAR, and finally making it to 60 mining. We used to speculate about leaving the client running whilst we slept.

My favorite memory was first joining in 2007, Being on tutorial island and just having a blast training all the skills. Once I got onto the mainland, I did nothing but firemaking, cooking shrimp, and running from the copper and tin ore deposit and going to the anvil and smithing. How fun it was leveling smithing and seeing all the crazy stuff you could smith and how much xp you could get.

 

I remember my active playing in 05ish with my IRL friends and the first tries of merchanting and pking. Playing on the private servers always remind me those great times. IMO the actual generation of players won't have that good memories as Jagex changes the appearance and so on so often and less and less people play with their IRL friends.

 

My favourite memories are from 06-07 when I played this in my prime, myself and about 4-5 friends from school were in this 100 + clan (about 80-90 members) - and loading up SwiftSwitch and talking in the clan irc for hours was really awesome.

Also, the f2p wars against other clans were amazing, tanking around the middle bit in clan wars was hilarious, brought out some amazing wars =D

 

I remember when I made my first account it took me two full days to do the tutorial island because I got stuck in the mining part and couldn't find where to open the gate. The thing that was so fun about RuneScape was that it seemed like their were endless possibilities on what you could do. me and my friends used to plan it out, like one of us will be the Fisher, another the sellsman, and another the miner/smither. This keep in mind was back in 2004.

 

Never said that. But more wouldn't hurt, right?
