Drug Test

I'm thinking about applying for a job soon but the only bad thing is that they drug test. The last 3 weeks I've probably only smoked weed about once a week for the last 2/3 weeks then last week I smoked around 2 to 3 times per day. I've been clean for a week now and I'm wondering how long it'll take to leave my system. Some people say 3-90 days depending if you're a heavy smoker and how long. I weigh about 80 kgs and I drink quite a lot of water per day, usually 2 liters +

 

It's roughly around 30 days I'd say to be semi-clean, but 90 to be quite confident. I wouldn't risk it tbh, as if the company sees you've failed, it could go on your record (so I believe)

 

Don't take the risk. Unless you can wait a couple more months and apply for the job then I guess you're going to have to take it as it is unless you want to risk some sort of criminal record.

 

There is no record for failing a drug test. It only takes about a week or two to get out of your system. If you fail a drug test, you just won't get the job.

Lmao are you serious. All you have to do is drink a shit load of water before you get tested. I smoked weed on and off my wrestling season once, my freshman year, and one day the principal called me up from practice to get tested. I was scared because I actually smoked the day before, so I went into the bathroom and drank as much water as I could hold and drank more when he brought me to the place. You can hold them off by saying you can't go and they will give you water, which is what I did and like 30 minutes later I pissed and it came up clean

 

Most employers, or at least smart employers, don't piss test. They folical test because you can't beat that.

I think it is about 3 - 4 weeks for a folical test, a blood test is about the same. So if they send you to a clinic for a physical and a drug test then expect it to be a minimum of 4 weeks.

 

Hair tests are very expensive, so they are rarely used. I've never known any employer personally that uses anything other than a piss test. It does depend on the job though. I've heard that getting hired at a casino or some companies that involve driving actually do use hair tests. I wouldn't worry about it though, assuming you're applying for a basic close to minimum wage job.

This is just plain wrong. You got lucky. Nothing else. Any other time, you would have been busted for obviously trying to dilute your urine by drinking a lot of water. Some drug tests even test your creatinine levels, which decreases from drinking large amounts of water.

First off, there is no way of knowing exactly how long it'll take to get THC out of your system. Everyone's body is different. I've dealt with drug tests for the last 9-10 years and I know that for me, it takes 7-10 days to get THC out of my system from smoking multiple times a day for several months at a time. I've even smoked 24 hours before a test and passed it without even trying to fool it. That's considered especially good though. I've known people smaller than me and it took them over a month after smoking heavily for some time. Other drugs takes 1-4 days. Of course the safest thing to do is just quit smoking for a little while. You could buy a few drug tests and test yourself after 2-4 weeks. They usually cost $20-50 each at the store, but you can buy them in bulk online for much cheaper. I've never actually seen just a 1 panel drug test at the stores near me, but you might have them near you. I'd assume they're about $10-20 if you can find them.

Don't waste your time with detoxes. There is only one method that actually works and that's the dilution method. It's very simple and it has saved my ass on multiple occasions. I'm talking the expensive drug tests also that are used when you're on probation and employment ones too.

1. Not often, but some drug tests do test your creatinine levels, so you need to either eat red meat, which naturally contains creatine or even better, just buy some creatine supplements and start taking them everyday 2-3 days before your test. Supplements can be pretty expensive though, so I would just stick with getting it naturally if you don't plan on dealing with many drug tests in the future.

2. 4-6 hours before your test, start by drinking water. First, drink 2 8oz cups and then continue drinking 1 8oz cup every 15 minutes. Do this until your urine is completely clear, which should take about 6-10 cups.

3. Now the most important part. If you go in there pissing water, then they will just make you do it again another day or they might not hire you at all. So go to the store and buy some B2 vitamins. This will bring the color of your urine back to a natural yellow tint. Be sure that they're B2 and not B12. It can be difficult to find B2 sometimes and I made the mistake of taking B12 once. My piss ended up turning neon green, but luckily I ended up not getting tested that day. I'm pretty sure you can use a B-complex also, but I've always just used B2 to be safe. Start taking them about 2 hours before the test. Take about 5 times the recommended dosage to start and then take more if your urine is still not a natural looking color.

Once you go in there, you'll be pissing pretty much completely diluted urine, but it will actually look normal and they won't be able to tell the difference. There is of course no 100% guarantee you will pass, but you have a much better chance. I've also heard you can take about 4 Asprin 4-6 hours before the test and it will apparently fool it some. I've never done it without also doing the dilution method, so I can't really say whether or not it makes much of a difference if any.

 

I did it twice, lol. On the other hand I did fail one because I only drank about 1 liter of water, and waited 10 minutes, only because I was so confident about passing the other ones. It was also the same day I smoked, so yeah it was probably impossible. For any of that fancy shit like creatine they have to send it to a lab, so unless your applying to NASA I don't think you have to worry. I'll tell you to stop smoking about a week in a half before your drug test, and during that week sweat as much as you can (workout) and drink loads of water. On the day of the test, drink water from when you wake up, to when you test, constantly, and trust me, you'll be golden. I've passed a DT with as little as 2 hours notice, they're not that hard.

 

Was your piss completely clear? If so, then that's insanely lucky. I don't see how anyone would be dumb enough to not realize you're obviously trying to fool it when you're pissing all water lol. I've never taken a drug test for school, but it's obviously extremely easy. There is no way they would hire you if your urine is that diluted for an employment drug test. Don't do the same thing if you ever get tested anywhere other than school. I promise you it's not nearly as easy. I've known several people who went into probation to take a drug test and they ended up counting it as positive just because it was too diluted. It got counted as a violation and they went to jail for it. One of my friends did that recently. He would've passed for sure if he hadn't been so paranoid and chugged a bunch of water right before. I warned him many times beforehand that he was in the clear, but he didn't listen and he ended up spending 2 weeks in county for it. They normally would have sent it to a lab in his case and he'd get his results in a couple days, but they didn't even bother this time because it was too watered down anyways. I've gone into a drug test for probation several times and couldn't piss, so they hand you a tiny ass dixie cup and won't even let you drink more than 3 of them. Once I didn't drink anything before I went in, so I had to sit in the lobby for almost 2 hours until I could piss.

Actually they test for creatine levels more often than you think. Infact, there are a lot of probation companies that send it to a lab and you have to wait several days to get your results. It's actually a good thing though, so you won't get arrested on the spot if you do fail. Employers often send it to a lab also. I even applied for a job once and right after the interview, they made me go to a lab down the street and do the test there. I thought I was going to get tested right then at the interview, so I had already drank a shitload of water before. I ended up having to wait an extra 2 hours and they didn't have a bathroom at the lab, so I kept having to go outside to my car and piss in a bottle. Luckily I still passed even though I smoked a few days before. And yeah, working out and sweating definitely does help some on getting THC out of your system.

There is no way that failing a drug test for employment would do anything to your criminal record even in Australia. No employer actually has access to your criminal record and they aren't going to call the cops to come arrest you for failing. You don't even get in trouble for failing a drug test if you're applying for the police force. You just don't get hired. Having an illegal substance in your system isn't illegal unless you're on parole or probation. Even then, no employer is going to call the police if you fail.

 

Drink like a gallon of water every 2 hours... then piss the THC out of your system! Good luck!

 

Thanks for all the advice, I decided to delay it for another month just to be safe. I heard it doesn't go onto your criminal record just like your job record? I do take at least 5 grams of creatine a day and I drink a lot of water when I'm on creatine. So, I'm basically pissing out water all day apart from first thing in the morning.

 

I've heard of so many things it's ridiculous.
I've heard that too much water as Dimethyl said they will know.
I've heard vinegar etc never heard of follicle testing anywhere here.

 

Consume large quantities of green tea and water. If you test negative for THC, then you could come up with some sort of excuse I imagine. Also, I heard cranberry juice is extremely helpful.
