    $800 Custom PC build?

Hey I'm trying to spend $800 on another custom computer for gaming needs since my old one just decided to die on me.

Can anyone here please tell me what I could get for $800? I know it's not much but I'd like parts such as the PSU or Mobo which can support later upgrades.

What games are you going to be playing? For example if your going to be playing Battlefield 3 or another high demand game like that, it'd be different then a game such as Runescape which requires mostly CPU and you can save money by cuttin back on materials,

This is a gaming build so I put an i5 in it, gaming doesn't need i7's.. i7=graphics/video rendering and crap like that..
    OK..
    CPU:i5 3570k (Comes with a free 15$ gift card) you can get the i5 2500k but it's 10$ less and with the 3570k you get 15$ free :D 230$

Case:a Cooler Master gaming case, mid tower but still awesome, lots of space and yah(60$)

    GPU:GTX 660 (290)

    MOBO:ASRock Z77 Pro3 LGA 1155 (95) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157297&name=Intel-Motherboards
    HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB (110) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533&name=Internal-Hard-Drives
    RAM:8GB DDR3 1866 Mhz (44) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231527&name=Desktop-Memory
PSU: Corsair 80 Plus Bronze Certified (135)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139022&name=Power-Supplies
That's around 950 :D you can get a lower PSU to save 100$ but incase you wanna SLI your GPU 850 watt is necessary.. Will run BF3 on Ultra with a VERY HIGH amount of FPS.. If you're not into BF3/Other FPS games like skyrim or crysis or whatever.. I can suggest you another cheaper build

I recommend figuring out what is wrong with your current computer. It doesn't just "die". PS shot? MOBO shot? Find out and you can take that 800 and save or upgrade your computer.

If your still set on spending 800 on a new computer then I recommend newegg. Stick with Intel and nVidia. Get yourself a good CPU(i5, i7), 6-8gb ram, and good graphics card(nVidia 620+.

Actually, you can use the website PCPARTPICKER.COM - It offers a wide variety of venders and shows prices. Can include Mail-In Rebates or without them.

Just keep in mind that it is really for reference and you would have to purchase the parts from each place.

    But it's constantly being updated.
