    Teachers can't teach?

I feel like it's more that students can't learn, not that teachers can't teach.

    Teachers can't teach?

We once got a substitute teacher fired for him choking a student. We planned a case and us 30 students said the exact same story and got him immediately fired at the spot. My teachers are the worse teachers and they read from the books lol

    Teachers can't teach?

This is why the USA push to use average class grades determine a teacher's salary or position/job is going through.
Obviously the teacher evaluators that come in do nothing since the teacher could just pretend like he/she is teaching.
The problem with using grades as a determination is that students could purposely fail to get the teacher fired.
    It's a big predicament.

    EDIT:
You are a fucking horrible person.

Plus some kids honestly don't care that they won't amount to anything later in life. I hate to say it, but after going to a public High School, you see kids who just don't give no fucks and think they'll be alright. Why should the teacher be penalized because Johnny don't give no fucks and fills in A for every multiple choice test.

I agree 100% when you put it in that perspective.

    Dumb kids make bad teachers.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. You'll be surprised how much work goes into lesson preparation, marking etc.

Having family that are teachers, and having worked in a school myself as a TA, I can safely say your statement isn't true for all teachers, though i'm just stating the obvious here.

    Teachers can't teach?

Some of my teachers don't really teach. I'm not a person who studies, I normally just pay attention in class and know everything unless it's something where you have to memorize (27 amendments).

I passed with all Bs(1 A, 1 C) last year like that, but this year, I'm failing Algebra 2(I've always been good at math, passed Algebra 1 with 2 As and Geometry with an A and B) and I have a mid-D in Biology. In Algebra, I got a 66.5%(65 is the lowest D) while most of my class got Fs, and my second test I got a 44.75%, where most of my class and the other class got Fs as well. I think two or three people passed the test in my class.(No one got higher than a C). Third test, he actually sort of taught us stuff, but a lot of people still got a low grade and I got a 81%(C) The highest grade I know was an 89%. I'm also in Honors but that doesn't really make a difference. (Honors should mean learning the material faster not learning it by yourself)

Biology, I got an 81% on the first test because he sort of taught, and second test I got a 59% because he didn't teach anything. So, I don't know what's up lol..

I have an A in History, C in Spanish, B in English because they all teach.
I'll still probably pass with a 3.0 GPA if anything. (Normally, anything under a B for me is failing, but C is acceptable in some cases)

Maybe on the first year they might be shit.. But teachers usually teach the same subjects/classes over and over again so I think they know what they are doing although it may not seem like it.

    Teachers can't teach?

Logically, it makes sense that teachers with higher grades should make more money, but it just doesn't work. Just like communism ideally would work, but it doesn't in reality.

You can't entirely blame kids, there are legitimately bad teachers. Such as my old chemistry teacher who couldn't explain anything for his life.

    You're a scum bag.

OT: Almond Joy is a scum bag.

Also, I've never had any problems with teachers. The student should try and be more independent tbh.

    Teachers can't teach?

There's teachers who have masters and PhDs, but can't teach for shit. I've had a couple of teachers with very good qualifications, but when it comes to crunch time, they don't cut it.

If students should be more independent, why should teachers exist?

I said more independent, not completely independent. They should aid in whatever problems faced.

    Teachers can't teach?

The teacher should be adequate enough for the course at hand, especially in a highschool class.

    And sometimes they aren't.

I learned a lot from my teachers, it's only the stupid kids who mess around and don't want to learn.

    Teachers can't teach?

If you're referring to middle school/high school, then you're in for a treat come college. It's hit or miss as stated above, that shouldn't surprise you though. My suggestion would be to round up a group of friends during a study hall period. From my experiences, this problem seems to be prevalent in math and science based courses more so than anything else.

    Teachers can't teach?

students have different ways of learning and teachers have different ways of teaching it's not the teachers fault if the kid can't adapt... and also sometimes some dumbass kids screw around and throw the teacher off track cause the teacher has to deal with thier bs this applies to middle school and high school
