Haha, freaking awesome man! You're a legend!

 

I don't really regret playing, I have met life long friends on Runescape whom I will stay in touch with for years to come. But if you're one of these people who have zero social skills because you were maxing out, then yeah, you should regret it. Big time.

OT; my best memories were probably just playing RS when the community wasn't shit. And people were actually friendly and funny. Player base is total shit now.

Its true that some players bot just to show off a 99, but you a missing a very big reason to why players bot... To save time.

By botting, you get to enjoy the game as a higher level (allowing you do more quests/PvM/PvPetc) without having to spend hours and hours on the game. For the player, its better in almost every aspect of life. Its socially better(more time for friends), physically better(less time spent crouched on a chair), mentally(less time numbing your brain with repetitive tasks)

Some people enjoy aspects of the game that require lots of time to achieve without a bot. Though it has had an incredible impact in ruining the game, botting entails so many benefits to player IRL and his gameplay. So saying botting isn't a good thing, as an average player, is untrue.

 

I remember getting lost in rs was so fun, it was like an adventure. Also i used to trade every player in efforts to get some money and sometimes players would give me items and it made me super happy.
