Is there already an unofficial Sythe clan chat that's circulating through the RS community that I'm not aware of?

 

Not that I'm aware of. People just add their friends and talk to them there. I think there's plans to start one up, though.

 

That would be great, a mature clan chat that secretly supports cheating. Hopefully a staff member would initiate it rather than an anonymous user.

 

Thatd be a nice thing to have, although im sure atleast a few times someone or a group have impersonating the Sythe name as a ingame chat/tried to rip off thier names XD

 

We've tried it a time or two but it hasn't worked out well.

Surely we could get banned for being affliated? Either way, if we made one with no mention of sythe in the name, I'd be up for it!

they could be some trolls around that might report the users
i would suggesst irc for large amount of ppl

I just think someone would go into the clan shouting and screaming sythe affiliations and RWT and we'd all be in a spot of trouble. Probably why it's not succeeded in the past.

No. People would be too paranoid about getting banned. For the most part, people hang out in the IRC. http://www.sythe-irc.org/
