Galaxy Note 2 or HTC One X+

Galaxy Note II is better than the HTC One X + (Plus), IMO.
    OK,
    Here's a comparison:
1.Holding the Galaxy Note 2 will make you feel better, holding the One X + is just like holding a piece of plastic.
2.Hardware, Galaxy Note 2: Quad core 1.6 Ghz. HTC One X +: Quad Core 1.7 Ghz, which is not much of a difference.
3.Both have the same OS, Jelly Bean.
    4.The Note II has a 5.5-Inch display, while the HTC One X + has a 4.7-Inch display.

If you need any more help ask me :D I will be happy to help.

I know this, I mean, the note 2 is actually much faster than the one x+ and has 2gb ram, the one x+ has 1gb ram. The x+ looks better IMO and isn't as big so I'm unsure, power or beauty and size(smaller).

Alright, I have friends with the Note and the Htc one, and honestly using them both I have to say the Note is better, it handles better and feels better using it. It also looks better (IMO) and it's also easier to use. The HTC is just a little bit too complicated.. So yeah, go with the note IMO

Galaxy note 2 is going to be my next phone hopefully. Beautiful phone, and the hardware it has is amazing, so I would choose that.

My hands are pretty big but I can barely use a 4.3" phone like the HTC Sensation or Samsung Galaxy S2 with one hand. A friend of mine has the S3 and I'm nearly forced to using two hands, one to hold it and one to control it.

Considering the HTC One X+ has a 4.7" screen aswell you can't handle it with one hand anyways. Just like the Samsung Note 2. So then it is just the screen size as you will need to use 2 hands already.

I personally like both Samsung and HTC but I like the stylus you get with the Note 2. The Note 2 has a better battery life aswell and the stylus so I would most likely pick that one!

Thanks for this insightful comment buddy, just what I was looking for. I have huge ass hands, I can use a 4.7 inch screen very easily with one hand.

What exactly do you intend to be using your phone for most of the time?

people just dont seem to understand that all this fancy hardware is rather useless.
Consider the fact that: 90% of android programs aren't coded for quad-core processors, thus the fancy processor serves next to no purpose other than to use up your batter unneccessarily. Therefore...if the program is written to utilize a single thread(core), your fancy 1.6 ghz processor is no better than an equivalent single-core. the operating system will run better, but the programs will not. once more programs are actually written to utilize more than 2 cores, it's a feasible option.

on the other side of the spectrum, just to clarify how "powerful" these processors are: while this hardware is overkill for a phone, it's actually rather weak in all reality. If you attempted to make it run an x86 instruction set(pretty much anything involving windows) it would handle the program about like an old pentium 3. These things are designed for RISC instruction sets, which are far less complex. a quick search will explain the differences.

back on track though, my choice would go to the note2. the stunning display is rather hard to take your eyes off of.
