    Working out/Creatine suppliments.

Ever since I was little, I was athletic & skinny/somewhat muscular(ae muscular as a 10-11 year old can be) and then in 6-7th grade I started gaining a LOT of weight. I'm now 15 years old & ~185 lbs. I know people that are my age & they're 220+ lbs, but no offense to them, their build is meant to be large/fat. My build is supposed to be average height & bulky(muscular) not average height & fat. I've decided that I'm going to go on a diet & start working out more often(I have a weight set & other stuff in my room already) & I was wondering if somebody could give me some tips on how to get in shape or what a nice routine is. I have no life(lol) so I can dedicate my whole day to it.

Also, is creatine supplements an option for me that won't damage me in the future?

    Thanks. :)

When you first start out, you'll want to give up. You have to push yourself in order to get the results you want. The saying "no pain, no gain" in true when it comes to weight lifting (well you could do it without tiring yourself but it would take for ever)..

If you're looking to bulk, try and eat a lot of food still, just make it healthier, you'll need a lot of protein which you can get from chicken, steak or eggs e something. I use protein shakes before and after a workout too, I'd recommend them because it makes things easier.
As for creatine... It's perfectly fine for you to take it, it's just not good for your liver, so you're supposed to take it for like 8 weeks as then have a 1-4 week break (not sure on break period). It's a natural occurring substance in your body, you're just making more of it with the tablets :p

The way I explain to my little cousins is:
Think of protein as little tiny work men on your muscles, each time you work out you break your muscle and then the little protein men repair the muscle for you.
Creatine are little tiny work trucks, they carry the workmen and materials, you normally have creatine in your body, but when you take the pills (or the shakes) you're putting more trucks into your body so you can take more workers and materials to your muscle :D

They understand when I say that to them :p

I would suggest creating a progress thread in Sports/Outdoors so we can root you on! Also, you should look into Advocare's 24 Day Challenge. Just completed it less than a week ago, lost 8 pounds of fat and gained 4 pounds of muscle. They have a bulking up plan as well but honestly the challenge will clean your body out within the first initial 10 days, and bulk you up within the 14 days to come. Wish you the best of luck with your muscle gains!

    Sounds good!
I'll create a progress thread once I get in the hang of things. :)
