Prayer Switch it does not work me...

Ok I am up to the point I gave up trying the kiln...I know how to prayer switch but this half assed system does not work for me.

I am Maxed so Kiln should be no problem for me...
So I switch correctly even before Jad does it's attack I see a huge delay everytime the prayer is up but JAd manages to hit trough it 75% of the time,mosty with Magic how am I suppose to complete this if I cant pray and have to kill 7 of these...???

It's to the point I cant even flinch because he still attacks when i try it,I have a great internet connection a fresh installed computer and no downloads what so ever running I am even on low detail.

I can't believe I waisted all this shit to a minigame I can't even complete and I am forced to pay 50 bucks for a service that I could do perfectly myself!..

I really would like to know whats up and how to fix shit like this?

 

All Kiln monsters hit through prayer. Jad's attacks should only do about 30-70 through prayer, so you shouldn't have any problems. Just keep an eye on your HP and load up a Yak with brew flasks.

That definitely explains it, I thought it was my net had deteriorated or something as I was missing switches on Jad when I was doing a kiln even though I clicked near instantly

It's a kiln cape, and OP, it's more like 50m, which is around $20

 

Cool thanks for the link, Kinda sick of stuff like this from Jagex whitout a warning, It's near impossible to switch like this I timed it perfectly and still he kod me.

I apologize, I thought your question was asking about the hit-through-prayer damage that Jad does, not missing the timing of the prayers.

Unless you are gear switching while doing Jad, I don't think that Villavu thread is relevant. It was just saying that Jagex has reduced the amount of actions per tick down to 3 actions/tick, meaning you can only change 3 pieces of armor per 0.6 seconds or clean 3 herbs, and so on. It only affects the speed of doing multiple actions at once, which doesn't come into play while fighting Jad.

If you are legitimately missing the prayer timing, it's probably more about tick delay than the issue on that thread. Every world has a level of tick delay, and it's been getting worse over the past few months. Test out a few worlds by going through character dialogue. When you press space (or click the green arrow) how long does it take to show the next dialogue tab? Btw this has nothing to do with ping, since some of the fastest tick delay worlds are over 200 ping for me. Just try a few worlds and see which one has the fastest dialogue. On a slow world, one tick (theoretically 0.6 seconds) can be more like 1 second or even slower. That's a LOT of unaccounted for time, especially when doing high-stakes timing like Jad. Ideally, you want a world where a true tick is exactly 0.6 seconds.

By far the best worlds I've ever tested were foreign worlds--French, German, and Portuguese. You can zoom through dialogue tabs faster than you can even realize they are switching. Since the kiln doesn't really involve reading dialogue or looting, you should be fine trying it on a foreign world. It's worth a shot. Also world 25 is the best for me of any of the English worlds, so try it as well.

 

Problem is getting the crystal names right but I wil give it a shot I was also tinking of using Jad prayer switching helper on RSbot but safemode lags like hell.

 

Don't use a bot, they are less dependable than your own clicking and it would be a pain to turn it on and off for the waves between Jads. If you are worried about crystals, just find a wave-by-wave guide like the one on RSWiki. It tells you what waves spawn what crystals.

Also you can save a few tenths of a second by watching Jad's right foot instead of listening for his animation. He foot slides back just before he goes to a magic attack; his foot jumps up just before he goes to a ranged attack.
