RSBot / Powerbot?

Ok....

So I have been inactive for a while, (since the 'bot nuke'), and I've found that powerbot is still striving?

I see that powerbot has the same type logo whatever as RSBot?

I thought RSBot was done for?

Will my old auths work for Powerbot?

I would appreciate it if someone could fill in the gaps...

Go to powerbot.org. Read. No your old auths will not work for this. Lots of scripts are free and will do just as good as some free scripts.

From what the rumors say, Jagex is currently in the works of abolishing Powerbot fyi. How true that is, well we'll see but it's worth the money (I've bought scripts in the past as well).

RSBot.org was seized by Jagex years ago, and they changed their name to Powerbot.org

The first Bot Nuke on October 25th of 2011 broke Powerbot for many months. They eventually managed to get up and running, and here they are now. Jagex is planning a 2nd Bot Nuke called Optimus, and that will most likely fuck with Powerbot, Epicbot, Rarebot, etc (all the injection/reflection bots, however one reflection bot site claims it will be untouched).

On top of that, Jagex is taking the owners of Epicbot and Powerbot to court and pressing them with civil and criminal chargers, so once that court case is over, don't expect to see much of either of those sites.

They plan to from what I've gathered. I believe one of the Mods exposed the identities of the owners' of PowerBot and EpicBot stating RS is after them.

 

The client itself will not be touched, if the updater is 'touched/broken', it will take a matter of hours using the built-in tools and capabilities the client has in order to re-identify data, and is the only client that has these (let alone the only bytecode manipulation client that doesn't rely on hooks in order to get data). I expect to have a faster recovery with this client compared to any other bytecode manipulation bot.

 

rsbot is the same as pbot.
