Scammer

So, I am reporting this for a friend. The guy he was trading with obviously was attempting to sell an account without even knowing the pass.

I think that there is plenty enough evidence warranting a ban, but obviously it is ultimately your guys decision. Also the person that provided me with some of the information was unaware how to report people etc. So I am handling it for him.

I know for a fact that runescape doesn't allow autofill browser functions to work, therefore the guy can't have just forgotten his password because he had to have logged on to snag those screenshots he posted later in the thread.. Either he decided not to sell it, and told the buyer he forgot the password to get out of the deal, OR (more likely) he already sold it and recovered it. Therefore, when the guy contacted him to buy it, he was still in the process of stealing back the account, but hadn't got the password yet (hence "iunno the pass")

-Ryan is looking for any evidence to the latter, and if something comes up-- a vouch, an offer, anything-- he'll be banned. Otherwise TwC is the best we can do for obvious malicious intent.

 

Just a misunderstanding, he knew the password to the account, but forgot the password to the email on the account.
