    Oh man...(Basic physics)

I should really know this, ive done it a couple times before... but i can't remember...

I have a 10k potentiometer hooked up to a 10V source. It says "calculate the voltage range between X and Y on the schematic provided" X is the middle pin on the pot, and Y is just after the pot. Would i just calculate the Voltage drop on the resistor (as in all the voltage would drop... in that case the range would be from 10v ----> 0v) or is there more to it than that....

    uhh thanks!

NEVERMIND I GOT IT NOW I HAD A DUMB MOMENT.....

Regardless, this isn't any form of "basic physics".
