High Pardon Request: ETPSales

Sorry if this is too long/short, I'm not sure how long these are expected to be.




Note: If you are reading this before Dialatic posts, I paid back all 84m to Dialatic. I have tried to contact the person I owe, but it appears he hasn't had activity for over a year so I fear he may never get on. I don't believe he has a sythe account either, but I'm not positive on that.




I know this isn't solid proof I have payed him back, but Dialatic will be back on soon:






To start off I'd like to tell you why I was banned. Offsite scamming in June of 2011. This was long before I started up my businesses here and when I was addicted to gambling. I bought from various gold sellers (not on Sythe) and ended up wanting to buy more, because I was addicted. I scammed 42 dollars (not on Sythe) and ended up having the money stuck on the account. I ceased all interaction with black market sites and ended up getting over my staking addiction.




Fast forward to a month ago. I was browsing on a dungeoneering clan website when I came across a program that tells you if a display name is available or not. I decided that it would be fun to start a name selling business (which I did) by selling names I find. I liked it a lot here and starting trading around/posting on various non market threads. I had 17 vouches and bought donator, I was just loving it here. From the bottom of my heart, I wanted to be a big part of an even bigger community. Fast forward until yesterday, I was banned. It had been so long since the offsite incident that I had absolutely no idea why I was banned. After I got back on the site I realized what I was banned for. I was crushed, and wanted to know if there was any way I could get back into the community. I have paid what I owe back to Sythe and wish that he could get on to receive the money.




Dialatic told me that just because I paid what I owe it doesn't mean I'm going to get my account back, but regardless of whether or not the ban is lifted it's the right thing to do. I have matured in the past year and four months, and am not the person I was then. I came to Sythe with the intention to be legitimate and be kind, and will always feel that way. I would grasp at the opportunity to be part of Sythe, even with a TWC. I understand if you do not show your support and appreciate if you do. Thank you for reading.

I don't know much about the case so I won't make a decision until I read into it a bit more.

I've been talking to ETPSales for a while now and we managed to refund the initial payment that was scammed. This means that the victim actually has his money back rather than it gathering dust on a shelf here at Sythe.
He went out of his way to make sure his victim received the money, even though Dialatic was (and still is) already holding $42 to cover the scam. This shows enough improvement of character for me to support this pardon.

This thread just reeks of scam. The A/W is way too low, the S/B is even lower, and you claim you can't take paypal but you scammed someone through paypal on MMOE.

I have no sympathy for people who leave things out of their pardons. You not only forgot scamming on MMOE, but that you had a previous sythe account that looks like it too was set up to scam.

If you feel like ETPsales has changed, then by all means continue to support him. I personally just hate when people make pardons without all the information. And I feel that his prev acc gabeb was set up to scam. That's all

You knowingly left things out of your pardon and posted a thread on a vader account that was clearly made with the intent to scam someone.
