Names are permanently deleted when they say "unknown player". Only when the display names were added, they came back for a second chance but now when they get deleted the first time, you can kiss them goodbye. Especially 1 character names as Jagex wants those to be gone so badly.

no, jmods make exceptions for specific players. Which is how some of the names got back into the game.

Exactly; they may not be 'permanently' gone, but you might as well say they are close to it because Jagex pretty much hold said names hostage until they see fit(the rare occasions like you mentioned).

Jagex does not keep full logs of information on accounts. The original owner of 21 only logged on briefly, and sold it soon after. for some reason you have to play for HOURS or SOMETHING.... Jagex is such a shit company. Even with 1st password they will say you aren't the owner, even if you are the first person to log on it. its retarded.
