Composition and tagging fundamentals are what you need to work on. Drop the borders, borders are passe and ruin the feel of 90% of tags.

 

I disagree, I love the look of these sigs and personally think borders are just general preference...I like them on 9/10 sigs xD

 

Do you tag, or is it just a personal opinion?

 

Second is my personal favorite. Not to contradict what Nero said because he is much better at traditional tags than I am, but I like the borders. Not on all four sides though only on the top and bottom. Anyways, like I was saying #2 does a great job of concentrating on the focal. Keep it up.
