Traffic Court Arraignment- Plea guilty or no contest?

I'm paying my traffic ticket when I arrive at the arraignment. However, I wish to attend traffic school since it was an option when I received mail.

If I plea " no contest ", would I still be eligible for traffic school?

 

A No Contest please is basically saying that you realize that they have enough proof to find you guilty of the charge but that you aren't going to plead guilt. You should still get the option to do traffic classes but I suppose they'll tack on extra fees for it.

 

Is it really necessary for a traffic ticket?

 

Do you mean traffic school? It is if you want to lower your insurance costs.

 

Not if oyu are going there because of a traffic ticket, it is to stp from getting points.
