Lil wayne

Who here likes him/Dislikes him, please give a detailed reasoning i dont want any replies saying "hes good" or "hes bad" I personally think hes the biggest faggot in the world but you guys can have your say.

 

I don't like him because I think that his music is crap (although that's mainly down to my dislike of that genre) and that he dresses like a pillock. But that's just my opinion.

I've never listened to his music, although with all music artists these days, I find that 50% love him, and 50% hate him.

 

His music is absolutely terrible now, but he wasn't always bad. There are rappers out there who are much worse because they have always sucked. Most people have never even heard his old shit. He definitely had talent. He wrote his first song when he was 8, did his first colab album when he was 12, was only 14 when he joined the Hot Boys, and he released his first solo album at 17 which was certified platinum. Wayne was the shit.

Wayne isnt as good as he used to be imo. He comes up with some clever rhymes but they cant compare to his older music. I dont hate him, I dont see how anyone can say they hate him if they've (mostliekly) never met the person lol.

 

The reason why Wayne is who he is now is because the amount of effort he's putting in his music has gone down. Wayne has already made millions off his music. He's moving on to other things(Clothing line, skateboarding), but since he can't let down his true fans, he releases a few songs now and then, maybe a mixtape or an album.

I think Lil Wayne is still a monster, but I do agree that the quality of his music has decreased.

 

Man tha carter 1 & 2 were actually enjoyable, pre cool music. nothing too terribly special but hell i liked em

I'm not really a fan. He just sounds so...I dunno, it just sounds like he's talking sometimes. I can't see how Lollipop got so big either.

 

Wayne was good but the songs these days arent that good, but he is still a beast rapper no matter what u say , he owns <3

hahahaha no way, ive wonder that for ages. i understand songs like a milli cause that shit bangs, but lolipop legit sucked, yet everyone LOVED it at one point.

 

I hate all his filth. There's two songs I know every word to and they're the only ones I can even remotely tolerate.

 

lil wayne has ruined rap. todays generation think he represents rap but his rhymes and beats are shit

 

He is and will always be the best raper alive. I'd like to see any of you guys come up with 1/10 of what he puts in his lyrics. He is a genius. The only album that failed was his "Rebirth".

 

I don't see the appeal with this kind of music, but whatever floats your boat.

 

i like him but 2pac for life.

 

That may be slightly true if he wrote 1/10 of his own lyrics.

 

Probably one of his best songs, honestly.
