Fraps or camtasia are your best bet. You will need some auth codes though.

I've used a lot of the free screen recorders and they suck. Go for Camtasia for anything else besides games and Fraps for games.

Look in the right places and you might save yourself some moo-la. I'd recommend camtasia>fraps, but it's all personal preference.

You might want to read the rules and then consider revising your post. Cracking and things like that is against the rules.

I recommend Camtasia 7 for recording. I got my copy for free (oh come on, we all know what we're talking about here). Then for editing I'd say Adobe After Effects CS5, or for the less advanced user, the newest version of Sony Vegas.

All of which can be obtained for free if you know how. However, obviously, as the rules state, we cannot tell you exactly how that is done or even talk about it using the actual words.

If you end up choosing Camtasia and/or After Effects, I'm pretty good at both, so I could give you a few tips or help teach you how to use them and some useful info on shit you can do with them.

If you're interested, here's my MSN: [email protected]
    And my Skype: TrentFromRiD

Add me and message me if you want, and send me a PM here with your info so I can confirm. I wish you luck in finding what you need.

Or you can just stop stealing from these companies and buy the product if you like it.

You can use Dxtory to record gaming videos. It detects the process of the game and sticks to it. you will see a nuber of frames at a corner, like in Fraps. But with dxtory you can record the audiotracks seperately. if you recorded something, you have to rightclick>extract audio streams. then you can edit them and simply put it to your video. but the most important point i want to figure out is that you can use and choose your own codec. So the Lagarith Losless codec is the best videocodec I've ever used.

PS: Hello Sythe, this is my first post :p
