Medical Cannabis Cards

Who here on sythe.org is a fellow pot smoker and owns their cannabis cards? Cannabis allows you to smoke pot under few restrictions. For example in california, theres a limit on how much you can possess and the amount of cannabis you can grow. I myself got one last week on my birthday (9/20/1994). The same day i turned 18 is when i applied and recieved my card for chronic back pain and insomnia.

So tell me how it is in other states that allow you to have your marijuana license!

 

Netherlands - 18 and you can use Marijuana. Nothing else needed.

I live in california where its really easy to get one I also had gotten one when I hit 18 and it expired and I haven't gotten it renewed yet but yeah its really easy they don't check anything they just want your $60-100 to get one.

I literally went in told him my back hurts and he gave me the card. It was the easiest thing I've ever achieved in my life.

Well abuse of the system, such as you just walking in and getting one, is why it is having such are hard time spreading. The doctors could care less and people go in with trivial problems and get one.

 

In my country this don't exists, I've to buy of the streets ;/

Only bad thing about having a card is that your name is given to the feds if they ever raid your store you shop at. If they know you grow marijuana by the purchase records at the store they can raid your house and you sir will spend the rest of your life in prison.

 

here in michigan we are pretty much set by the same rules as you we can have up to 2 and a half ounces if we are a patient and up to 2 pounds or so if a caregiver. all of our dispensaries have been taken down by the government though due to several dumbass's in the state trying to sell their despensary weed on the street for profit.

 

not unless you've gone over the 10 plant limit. DEA averts their attention towards the stores. Not actual patients that follow the restrictions.

 

I live in Canada, province of Manitoba to be specific. Someone's father which is a lawyer, specifying in drug cases usually. He told me anything over half an Oz will land yourself in some trouble with the police. Although I hear stories about people getting caught with an Oz of weed, and the cops taking the bag and giving it back to the person and saying "Have a good night". It's decriminalized, and according to Marc Emery, all the judges in Canada who has looked at this legislation has come to the conclusion that marijuana is no longer an offense known to law. However, that was in the year of 2003 and I'm sure it's gotten a lot less strict. Much love to Marc Emery, too bad he's in an American prison for selling seeds to America.

Having your med card doesn't affiliate with your ability to get a job. It's all private records, because it's medical information. No on can know about it except you and your doctor.

At least you aren't being taxed for it!

California weed is the dankest of all hands down.

That cali bud seems a little over rated at least that's what everyone up here says who has had it.

 

You may be referring to your state, but that doesn't change the fact the federal government still see's it as illegal.

If the DEA (a federal organization) were to raid the store, you in turn could be gone after and prosecuted under federal law.

It's one of those scenarios of conflicting state and federal law.

As for the thread itself, I do not smoke, nor does my state offer cards.
