Any websites that allow to watch NFL for free?

My free gamepass on Nfl.com has expired so now I have no way to watch any games as I live in New Zealand and do not have sky (our version of cable). Does anyone know any ways I would be able to watch NFL games for free? (I don't mind poor quality)

Off topic: How did you become such a big american football fan in a country that seems more geared towards traditional football, or soccer.

 

Well firstly, in New Zealand Rugby is preferred over soccer. I remember my first contact with NFL came when I rented out Madden 05 and didn't know how to play, I remember wondering how to make it so I could throw the ball when I was doing a HB Draw haha. It is true however, there are hardly any followers of American Football in New Zealand. Basically once I tasted Football, I couldn't go back to Rugby. In New Zealand the common misconception of NFL is that all you do is hit people hard. In reality however, this can be said about Rugby. In the game of Rugby only the person with the ball can do things, so basically you hand it to your biggest/fastest guy and see if he can make something of it. In NFL however there is a lot of strategy involved and each player is actively contributing to the teams performance. Basically I love the deeper level in NFL than there is in Rugby, it had its claws in me.

 

Ah sorry about the soccer reference then. That's really cool though I'm glad you like it even though it's a slower game. I feel like a lot of people find it hard to transition from fast-paced games to slower ones

 

I won't hold it against you.

Yeah it is a slower game with the breaks for playcalling etc but I feel that during the plays, because of the intensity and each player taking a role and actively helping that the plays themselves are actually faster paced than rugby. It is a very common complaint in New Zealand though, they're always like "Oh they only play for 5 seconds then stop for 2 minutes" When in reality it's only about 20-30 seconds as they want to beat the timer. I think what they said could basically be used to describe Cricket however, there is such a delay between each bowl and even then I feel its not exciting watching a guy hit a ball with a stick. I make it sound like they are cavemen.

 

Does this only allow for live streams? It wouldn't really work for me as most of the american games are at odd times for me due to commitments, etc.

 

Yes the game has to physically be going on in order for you to watch it.

 

Yes I know. I am looking for an alternative that allows you to watch the games at a time different to when it is currently being played if that is an option.
