Are you scared to RWT?

Are you guys worried to RWT on Runescape.com at the moment, it seems to me that a whole bunch of people are just getting banned for it. They are not even rolling back people, just banning them. I would hate to loose cash and I don't plan on selling or buying any RSGP anytime soon. What do you guys think?

 

You are talking banned in rs? at this time i am more scared to get scammed by someone while trading! I never being banned in rs for RWT so i doesnt really matter Idk how they can see that you are rwt cause of the big trade with the gambling game and all this idk if i am talking about the same thing but this is my opinion haha

 

Seen a few recent threads on Sythe.org about people getting banned, also CLS Product got banned for RWTing. I heard they are going to cut down on the gamblers also.

 

Seriously idk if they will be able to stop RWT without a trade limit. But i hope the trade will stay as they are.( i didnt know ClS got banned :O do you know info about his transaction ? )

 

I'm guessing Cls Product/Mx799 only got banned because Jagex has known they carried quite a bit of wealth, so they searched their account's recent trades, traced it to RWTing, and that's all. Why would Jagex go after someone selling/buying 100m?

 

I don't know, I heard about a trusted person on here getting rolled for 15m.

 

Seems like the people who are getting banned are moving massive volume (10b+) at a time. I really doubt jagex would waste their time and resources going after small-time RWTers trading smaller amounts. I'm not too worried myself, but then again i'd avoid massive purchases or sales for the time being.

 

Risk is higher right now due to being near bot nuke. However, here are my approximate estimations of risk taken from trades. The chance of punishment is the number, the potential punishment is denoted by colour. As you can see, if you are just buying gold, your account will NOT be banned / locked for RWT. Max punishment is a rollback.

Keep in mind that these risks are compounded if you have been recently banned / rolled back.

Risk Levels (Green = Bank Rollback Only)(Red = Bannable):

Buying 1-200M: 0.25/100

Buying 201-999M: 1/100

Buying 1000M+: 5/100

Selling 1-200M: 10/100

Selling 201-999M: 20/100

Selling 1000M+: 30/100

Selling 10,000M+: 50/100

Selling / Buying 10,000M+ per day: 80/100

 

Guessing these numbers are estimates ? And are you going to slow down on how much gold you're selling until this blows over a bit?

 

Even though i'm not a huge gold seller/buyer, i'd say its safe to move around a few hundred mil without any problems.
If they take out the big guys they can brag about it, taking out the little guys means nothing to them.

 

We've sold 325B this month. One of our highest on record. I have no intention of slowing down, but I will take more precautions.

Jagex is really cracking down, with RWT. I have seen multiple people getting banned for RWT. So my opinion is take it with a assault. If you don't mind the risk go for it. If not.. then don't your choice really.

 

I was thinking of starting a gold-selling business, but now must not be a good time. Maybe later, when the cracking down on RWT eases down a bit

 

Personally I'm only just getting into the Gold market and will probably only be transferring a few hundred mill per day. I'm worried though because it's still $100-$200 of potential losses.

Interesting figures. Would you say that if I was selling around 400m to separate customers in an 8 hour period (Maximum of 250m per customer) through direct trade I'm quite safe?

 

At the moment, you should be pretty safe doing that.

 

Hmm, interesting. How often do you experience rollbacks? Would you be willing to share some of your methods to prevent GP loss through rollbacks and bans?
