[Community Polling]Add subsections to the Xbox Market?

This has been brought up by a number of different people. I'm going to layout what they've said and if any of them (or your own) layout of subsections pleases you, then vote yes. If you like having it only one subsection vote no. If you don't ever go there and do not care / do not have an opinion, vote that.

Post what you think is the best option just so I get an idea. I never venture in there so I have no idea. I just want to know what the people who actually know what they are talking about think.

 

In my opinion, I think we need separate sections for:

-> Xbox Accounts
-> Xbox Live Membership and Points
-> Xbox Services and In Game Items (Ultimate Team Coins, Gamebattles Wins, etc)

Just a general idea to get us started.

If people used tags for [Buying] or [Selling] in their title it would keep things extremely organized in the sections as well.

 

Don't feel this is warranted. Lots of empty subsections give rather the wrong impression and I'd much rather see the one large section. At most I'd suggest title tags in a sticky so [FUT] and [ACCOUNT] and

There is no need to split it up, because it will just make it appear empty, and that could really harm it's activity.

 

This. The xbox market is already dead as it is.

 

It won't appear empty on the frontpage so people still click on it and thus it won't harm activity.

 

Na, it's fine as it is. It'll just make it more inactive. The section doesn't seem active enough for all those sub-sections.

 

Dude's saying the market is dead as it is. Have any of yall even visited the section? It gets tons of activity, just it's hard to sort through tons and tons of fut to find deals on xbox live codes and people selling dope oG tags.

Give it a 2 week trial at the very least.

Because FUT only includes Fifa ultimate team, when there is also Madden ultimate team and I think a hockey one.

 

Yeah I agree with you. People criticize it but it makes me doubt if they've even ventured into there. There are also a lot of GB services and leveling services which would fit into neither of those categories though. I don't know what would be the best way to arrange it but as long as each thread fits into a section it should be fine. I'd say 3 subsections max however.

 

This is exactly what I want to see. It's the most organised approach and seems the most logical. Accounts, then actual Xbox products, then game products.

this is the better one because sometimes people sell DLC content which don't fall into any category that you have besides the xbox code sales. But then again... some people need a services section too so idk, but that stupid ultimate crap definitely needs it's own section, sick of seeing it flood the market.

 

This right here. The ultimate team stuff is soooo annoying. It's hard to even find an account for sale or a service with everyone who came to the Xbox section to sell ultimate team stuff.

 

Is there anything that is currently sold that would not fit into those categories?

 

There is nothing wrong with the section, and changing it just because it's active is pointless. When people go in to the individual sections and see there are only 1/3 of the amount of posts there, they are going to think "Wow, I shouldn't even bother to selling this here". It's much better to just go to the second or third page then to split it up and make the section appear less active.

tl;dr If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

 

I do not accept your premise. Lots of active Xbox users have complained that it is extremely crowded and hard to find threads. That's an issue and I'd like it resolved if the people who regularly use that forum want the change.

 

Having to visit the second, or even the third page to find a thread doesn't make it extremely crowded. People on sythe are used to having a handful of active threads per page because whenever something gets active we just split it up until that happens. We really need to start getting away from that, or eventually we're going to have a few main sections with 5000 subsections.

 

Im voting yes, it needs restructured and your ideas SuF seem to work for me, however what about a section for selling/buying/trading actual xboxs and controllers and the such. Jtags (do we support them at sythe or what?) flashes and the such. It may not start out with a big market, but it could grow quickly
