RuneScape Black Market Clan

Hey guys,
So..I've been considering this idea for the last few weeks. So I figured, why not ask the community. Would it be a plausible idea, to create a black market clan? I'm not talking about something as massive as sythe, but something small, a sort of haven for people to do not so legitimate trades and businesses.
I was thinking something along the lines of a small marketplace.
But, unlike places where you can just randomly join in and check it out. I want this clan to be a place where people only join by word of mouth, or so to speak. Ranks and recruitment into the clan will be based on something like paying to join, being trusted into joining (applies for all sythe members who are interested"
Not to say that I don't want this clan to be a slightly normal one, I do want people to chat, and events etc. But I was also wondering whether people would join this kind of thing.
I would obviously love it if I could link the clan to sythe, but yea..that's my idea.
(services i wanted to include were- membership, questing, dung, account sales, gold sales, and everything else under the sun )

I would never join anything like this. If jagex catches wind because a few of the members go ahead and talk about anything black market in too obvious terms what's stopping jagex catching onto the idea that the clan is devoted to the black market scene and with them coming down hard on RWT currently I don't envy creating more opportunity to be banned.

 

Why not just continue to use Sythe? It's safer, for one.

People will still scam in your clan, and since you won't easily be able to record vouches, or measure someone's trust I assume that there would be an even greater unfaithfulness to the clan.

I know this probably wouldn't ever happen, but there's always a chance at a Jmod or Regular mod listening in on your conversations. (Gold sales, membership sales, accounts, etc...) At least on Sythe you're somewhat protected from that.

 

there use to be a clan like this last year but it slowly died because people were paranoid jagex would catch them lol

 

I think each market needs as many buyers and sellers as possible.
The downfall of markets is actually PayPal which allows retards to chargeback, no questions asked.

Using the rs clan system would be very dangerous for getting banned..
If you rlly want to do this i would suggest using a Irc channel or something, the safest is to stay on sythe though.

An offsite clan would be a good idea, but not in rs.

 

I've toyed with an idea like this myself, it isn't in my opinion a bad one.

Like people said it does pose a threat of being caught, but if you could get let's say 20 - 30 trusted black market traders in one clan it would be good mainly because we'd be able to trade without the fear of scams or charge backs.

 

Yeah - it's like forming a botting clan, it will just bring unwanted attention onto the players who are in the clan. (So I wouldn't suggest it)

 

Just stay on sythe

 

Join a clan...for things that are bannable...seems legit.

 

I would steer clear of making/joining a particular clan like this, although the world is your oyster, feel free I guess.
