What did you think about Player owned houses at the beginning of the game ? They were pretty god damn awesome!

And there was a guy who's father died and Paul Gower made a news post about him, what was his father's RSN ? I forgot lol

 

1. Player owned houses were being talked about in RSC since 2001, people always viewed the 6* empty small houses in falador as their house. They were famous for drop trading in. The release was huge, but didnt live up to the hype.

2. I dont recall this news. The oldest news I can personally remember was when Andrew made a news about him making a new character and going around saying hes an admin. Nobody believed him so he made the news saying how he was proud, and you should never believe anyone making such claims.

Wanted to add to #1 - During rsc they released a skill called carpentry and you could see it under skills, but it was removed shortly after. I had a ss of this, but not sure if i could recover it.

 

I remember legit drop parties... where people would actually do them and not just use them as an attempt to scam people. I remember getting a rune scimitar from one and training so hard so I could actually use it as it was worth so much to me.

 

Rune scimitars were not very valuable in rsc since all weapons had the same speed. I remember the biggest scam back then was the "trust game". I still remember popping my christmas cracker - got chocolate plus a yellow.

 

I remember I chopped yews so hard for like 7 days straight just to buy the d med for 2.4m....

Before that I mined my ass off getting enough coal and selling everything in my bank to but a dragon b axe. tried to use it and I had to have a quest done.. haha

I am here with you I actually participated in DeviousMUD.... when varrock was the only city and only place... graphics were WAY different.. that was late 2000's

This question makes me think - a lot... But it's an easy answer... karamja island banana picking. A lot of people did that as a legit way to make money.

My brother who got me into runescape played the MUD version. I never got a chance to try it during 2000's though.

Fishing by far. I remember getting my first net and spending hours trying to figure out how to fish in the water (I was really young at the time I started playing)..

Haha, I remember a scam that was popular by claiming they had the key to the gate inside there.

 

What can you tell me about how the fally massacre worked?

 

The falador massacre was basically a glitch that was abused where people were killing others in falador for their items.

 

Jagex cannot release a major update without having bugs fixed prior to release. Basically using POH durial had the option to attack anyone he wanted (as if he was in the wilderness). There was also a major glitch that made people lose millions. Poison someone in your house in a ring and then kick them out right before they die, they'd die right outside the portal. Simple.
