I have been banned without getting my side of the story. The user who reported me sent me locked giftcards that can not make purchases. I showed proof of me using the giftcards and being unable to make purchases, and the proof of the giftcards that he sent me being the same.
Something about my story doesn't add up? Why not contact me instead?
I am more than willing to cooperate in this investigation and you banning me because you have a bad feeling is completely unfair.

I have been banned without getting my side of the story out. The user sold me Walmart giftcards which are unable to make purchases. Upon making a purchase, the giftcard is immediately refunded. I provided proof of this to Dialatic, I also provided proof that the giftcards he sold me were the same, and told him to try and make a purchase himself and so that he could see the issue firsthand.
I am more than willing to cooperate in this investigation, so why not just question me? It is completely unfair that you ban me for having a bad feeling about my story. What exactly doesn't make sense about it? You have no decisive proof and I would like an opportunity to counter these claims instead of just having my claims and proofs ignored. I have no intention to scam and did not, the disputes were filed for a clear and defined reason and I waited over a week to file to make sure it was the right thing.

 

There were many things that made me feel uneasy about the report, which ultimately lead to your ban.

1. You provided screenshots of you trying to use the gift card on September 11th and getting denied (this was using it for the first time), yet the dispute on Paypal occurred on the 10th.
2. It was nearly 3 weeks after he had sold the gift cards to you, why had you only just tried them then?
3. If he actually did scam you like you claim, why did you not make a report about it? You had about 3 weeks to do it before he made one on you instead.

As for "what do I need to see", I'd love to see every screenshot you have of you trying to use them.

I'm going to review the evidence now and see what I can figure out.

What did Walmart say after you contacted them? I believe these giftcards were "carded", due to the users abundance of giftcards to sell and the listing of fraud when I attempted the purchase.

 

Can I get another mod's perspective on this dispute?

 

I've already requested another moderator to take a look but he hasn't gotten to it yet.

Anyways, after seeing the proof you provided, I don't see any reason why you should be banned. It's a he said/she said case, and I can't seem to prove either side.

Be careful in the future when buying gift cards to not end up in this mess, use a middleman and take lots of screenshots.
