Bought potato salad from supermarket..A FLY was inside & ALIVE!

Went to my local murphie's supermarket & bought some potato salad for $2.09 I opened it & tried a potato out of the same spot the fly was in without noticing the fly.....seen olives which I dislike & and then see the fly fucking nasty as hell!

UPDATE

For the last time I DID EAT OUT OF IT & I AM NOT SUING!

The manger I contacted kept repeating over & over how disgusting that is and how his stomach was turning and he couldn't even get over it. It's contaminated food & there is a law mandating for this kind of thing not to happen.​

 

Yuck, I can't imagine myself accidentally eating one without knowing >.<

I think you could technically sue them for that, or at least report it to someone, that is seriously unhygienic. Thank god you're not a big fan of olives eh?

 

I have no clue what I could do legally, and I know it's unhygienic. I sent it to CNN & Fox as well & 5+ other forums. Let me know if you can share some insight on this.

That is disgusting. Judging from win4fun's share it sounds like it may be worth taking legal action as you may be able to claim a considerable amount from them. This could turn an unlucky event into a lucky goldmine.

 

It really is bad, should I try & seek a settlement from them.

If your family has a lawyer, definitely get into contact with him/her. He'll tell ya if you can sue 'em or not.

 

That's nasty as shit. Call them, ask what they can do for you and if they insist nothing tell them you're going to seek legal action.

Potato salad is carb loaded. Be happy they added in free protein.

 

That extra protein is not worth being traumatized over now I can't eat potato salad which is pretty good
