Sorry bout the recent inactivity folks. Have had a fair amount of school work and wrestling practices are starting. Should be back fully within a few days.

Why not let people know, if there done something wrong? instead of giving them a infraction and not telling them why?

Infractions are warnings and I'd you accumulate enough of them then you get punished. You learn from them. It isn't the staffs job to hold your hand and explain everything. The rules are there for a purpowe. Now on topic. a mod moved my thread judging interest for a weekly movie review from the GD to the movie section. The movie section gets no traffic and the thread had nothing to do with movies other than the fact I was judging the interest of the community in a weekly review. I would appreciate it if the mod that moved it read and consider before moving threads all willy nilly.

Infractions are taken too harshly by the community. It's not like a criminal record or anything, it's just saying please read the rules and don't break them again. You get a bunch of chances with them, and even when you get a temporary ban it's only a few days.

 

This. Infractions are essentially your second (and subsequent) warnings. What about the first warning, you may ask?

Try looking at the rules sticky.

Thats your first warning. Negligence and ignorance is no excuse for breaking the CLEARLY POSTED rules, and you WILL be infracted and/or punished for failure to abide by them.

 

I see Superman more and more doing the post reports and the scam ones, good job buddy!

 

Spam reports seem to be taken care of almost instantly, keep up the good work!

 

I see superman more and more in the RS sections which is good, keep it up.

 

Superman worked very hard ,and helped me much.

Many Mods were replaced, but superman still is the one,for a long time.

Verts - I'm not exactly sure if this was your original idea, but it's an interesting concept regarding a community focus team. In theory it's a great idea and I really do hope that it works out. Sythe has a great community and I reckon community activities could be really enjoyable.

 

Karl, shame on you. You infracted me for "admitting to trolling" and locked my thread because I admitted something in the IRC. So now does everything that someone says in the IRC make it true? If I had said, "Hey, I robbed a bank today and shot 4 people while at it," would you think that was true also? Reverse my infraction and unlock the thread. Now.

Dialatic - From what I've seen since returning; extremely active

Malakadang - Great guy, extremely helpful and has alot of potential.

Superman - Helped me during my pardon process, always willingly and never out of 'public appearance'. One of Sythe's top Staff Members.

Tmoe - Not seen you around yet, maybe you're away?

Video - One of Sythe's most valuable assets. Extremely diligent and capable. Does a great job and much more.


Blupig - Helped me out a tonne while I was banned. Extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Doing a good job.



FireZ - Nice to see you not changing. Glad to know Sythe will always have a harsh, unbiased opinion that doesn't tolerate any nonsense.

 

-Ryan and Dialatic both recently promoted and are doing great jobs from what I can see. They are both always on top of spam reports, answering them within minutes most of the time.
