Chaotic Rapier vs. Chaotic Longsword vs. Chaotic Maul

Honestly, Idk why anyone would bring a chaotic in the wild. If you die, oh dear. Bye Bye chaotic.

I'm getting the rapier for use in Minigames like soul wars and pest control.

 

What type of account is it? If it is a main, a cls is a better alternative as it will hit more often against high defense tanks.

 

just got a cls on my main last night, i got a rapier as my first chaotic and all things aside now that i got a cls i kinda wish it was my first! i am LOVING it

 

I have all three chaotics and you can't really compare them against one another, they were created for different purposes snd perform exceptionally well for their purpose.

Maul for PVP
Longsword for bossing
Rapier for PVP or slayer

 

Cls for bossing? Nope. It's pretty much useless in all situations, even bandos because you will potentially need the dps for crashing or even soloing.

You got the accuracy part wrong, rapier being the fastest, is the most accurate.

 

bought cmaul few days ago.. been using it for fiends non stop with bot.. perfect.. exceptional.. i love cmaul.. rap + cmaul all u need

 

What chaotic should I get with the eoc update on it's way?

I have the sword, rapier, bow and maul, albeit on a purchased account. I wouldn't dream of PKing with them, buying the account in the first place was a sign I can't be fucked to get them myself, I mean I'm <70 on my legitimate 137 main. The rapier has to be my favourite, but I've had some hilarious 3hits with the maul when doing DA DMs with friends. In terms of the "best" chaotic out of the 3, situationals, the power, accessibility taken into account. The rapier solves all. Although for example maul is better at fiends, sword better on Bandos etc, Rapier can slay, PvP, and it contests well against other chaotics at Graardor.

CCB with Bak bolts is just... lethal as fuck though.

 

Although a lot of people may disagree, overall, I reckon the longsword is the best chaotic weapon.

 

i have a Maul, and it's really good for pking.

 

I completely agree...while the others have their advantages you can take the longsword and use it in pretty much any situation with good results

Chaotic rapier is the most versatile weapon in my opinion. It comes good when you are slaying frost dragons, or just doing slayer in general.

 

Man.. I should have came here when i chose my first chaotic, but i still love my little rapier

 

The rapier clearly has more uses in more cases and it will be my first choice of any chaotic.
