Would You Read a Weekly Movie Review?

I posted this thread yesterday and it was moved and then I was informed it couldn't be moved back. Please read it before voting.

Would you actively read or be interested in some sort of weekly movie review that review weird, strange, and experimental films?

Please, don't move this thread. I am looking to see if there are a good number of people who would read/be a part of this. I want to generate some more community activities.

It'd have to depend on the movie, I don't read movie reviews very often, though. If it was a movie I liked or would be interested in watching, then yeah probably.

 

Nah, not unless its a movie thats really good that leaves me thinking. Or a movie that I plan on seeing.

 

it honestly depends if i show any interest in the movie, if you're going to do it make the review catchy for the audience!

 

Yeah I'd read it. You make good arguments so I bet you could make good justifications as to why we should or should not watch a film. I won't read ALL of your reviews, like the ones that are EXTREMELY abstract but it would be nice to be opened to a wider range of genres.

 

If it was strictly an underground/"weird" movies type of deal i probably wouldn't read it.

Edit: I suggest like once or twice a month you see the most anticipated movie and do a review on it (major movie titles like twilight, batman, etc.) Then i know i would probably read it, and others would too.

 

I'm only going o be reviewing well made mainstream movies. Which I think I will judge by rotten tomatoes. If I want to watch it or it gets exceptional reviews like 90%+ I would watch it. Most movies now-a-days are crap because they're trying to live up to an industry standard.

ll give this a yes I will read, you seem like a smart guy judging by your posts, so I believe you will have solid views on the movies. I do request you review taken 2 the day it comes out though, have to make sure its good before I spend my money! Lmao

 

Hell yeh! Would be a good idea as long as the movies are good. Perhaps a poll on which movie to review before reviewing it or something?

If it were reviews about films like A Serbian Film, Cannibal Holocaust and Human Centipede, yes
As long as I have no heard of those movies before

 

I'm one of those people who enjoy reading reviews, mostly regarding technology and gaming but I'm sure I'd read through a few of your movie reviews.

 

Well, I think I am going to do it anyway. I will probably have the first review up before the night is over with. If I don't get enough interest I'll just stop.
