HTML5 / Runescape 3 will be a big deal

I don't think bots being removed from the game is what will bring players back, I think such a drastic overhaul to what was everyones favourite game at least once in there lives before is what will intrigue them.

 

Runescape will always grow. Neopets =/= Runescape

Runescape is pretty much a completely different game and the updates each week is a reason why runescape will grow bigger than neopets.

 

Honestly they're quite similar. Neopets gets tons and tons of updates of unique and new in-game content. I am pretty sure they actually have a much stronger economy and a more loyal player base. Neopets has never had to drastically change things in an attempt to lure in old players. The game is what it is and that is why it has remained fairly popular since I as in like 4th grade.

 

As much as I dislike this whole combat overhaul thing, I guess I can live with it because I hate combat anyways. This just gives me even more reason to remain a skiller.

 

I'm not looking forward to it because it ill make questing a little bit more frustrating, at least until I get used to how to combat properly. (You being a fellow quester, I'm sure you'd understand )

 

The combat update will allow for more complex and/or intense battles in quests. At the moment it's just attack, prayer, pot pot pot, win.

 

Yeah, but you see some people don't enjoy quests and want to just push them out of the way. What I was discussing with Glamazonia was that her (I think her, sorry if I'm wrong :S) and I run a questing business. Therefore we want the boss fights to be less difficult and quicker

 

Think of it this way - the quests are harder and take longer which means you get to charge more.

It's going to take some getting used to considering quests like DT(with a fair amount of combat) happen to be some of the more popular requests. I guess I wouldn't mind learning new techniques(despite how bleh it will be for a while) for the lesser ones, but the more complex bosses like Nomad are going to a real pain. With me not being someone who's used to boss hunting and all that ya di da on my personal account, it already took enough to get decent at fighting him on semi-high/higher levels as it is, now I might have to do that over. *terrified scream*

Sounds refreshing really, considering I'm already seen as fairly cheap for a legit quester anyways. ;D
