Post Count in Price Checks

I think that the post count not being updated for posts made in the price checks forums is pointless. The people posting in these forums do so in order to help other people get a rough idea of what to expect Sythe users will offer, and aims to help out those who are new. As a result, the people who are trying to help those should receive some sort of a tiny reward in the boosting of their post count. Obviously this may lead to spam posts, but these are a problem throughout the rest of the Sythe website anyhow, and would need to be dealt with in a similar manner. Just my thoughts, feel free to weigh up the pros and cons below, as well as tell me how stupid my suggestion may be.

Just remove post count

 

If post count is added people will spam it just randomly posting prices, giving users a false representation of what the value of their account is. I say no.

 

This. Not many people know the prices as well, just sell an account and watch what offers you get to estimate the price.

It's not spam it's honest, a full removal of postcount would probably lead to better quality posts overall.

 

It was removed last year I think due to people spamming small, unintelligent answers for virtually 'free' post count in that section. Post count doesn't mean anything anyways.

 

Fair enough point. I probably should have thought of that. I guess I was thinking of the short term benefits rather than over the medium-long term.

 

You're right, it'll help people actually get answers, but they won't be very detailed. Nice idea, but unfortunately the consequence is Spam.

 

Would be too easy to boost post count. I'd have an extra 200 post count if your suggestion was approved. If you helped someone by giving them a simple price check, you shouldn't be awarded.
